The Kids won't want to leave!!! Our kid friendly home has something to offer everyone!!EXCELLENT views which include beautiful sunrises over Mt. LaConte, the aerial tram, downtown Gatlinburg, a game room with FREE REAL arcade games that will for sure entertain adults and children for hours,located near one of the three Chalet Village community heated pools (open mid-May to mid Sept.),and 1/2 mile from the entrance to Ober Gatlinburg ski area. All of this for a great value!! PLUS, we have PARKING!! We have a parking area that can fit 4-5 cars across and everyone can get out or park a motorcycle trailer!!

Our Chalet is a large A-frame design. It has three levels with a bath on each level. The first level has 2 bedrooms (1Q, 1F), a full bath and a laundry facility (washer and dryer). The main level has 2 bedrooms (2Q's), a full bath, the living/dining room,gas fireplace with sunken living room, kitchen, and decks which surround 2 sides of our home, and the hot tub. The 3rd level has a bedroom (1K ), plus a bed (1F ) on the loft, a bath. The game room is its own room off this level and has couches. Our cabin is close to all the area attractions(Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Cherokee, National Park entrance and more). It sits on top of Ski Mountain in the Chalet Village neighborhood and our street ends with the boundary to the National Forrest which allows for an occasional visit from wildlife, i.e. 'L'il Smokey', a black bear, that likes to visit our home from time to time in search of their next meal. Even though, we are on top of the mountain, we are still only 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge.

We have WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE, FREE LONG DISTANCE PHONE SERVICE for US & Canada, and digital cable. We have stereo systems, DVD and VHS players and a movie library for your viewing pleasure. We offer a complete kitchen and dishes with a set up for 15.

Our home has something for everyone...entertainment, close to all area attractions, views, the house is located a lot away from your neighbors on all sides, and fun. The word I usually use to describe our home is that is has 'Great Flow' for a group. While the kids are up in the game room, the adults can enjoy a movie or views from the deck.

Update: The Hot Tub was replaced in January 2022, and is working great.

Had a excellent time.arcade was awesome the kids loved it and adults also it is pretty much a great value the baby gate was broken and house is a little dated could use some new beds and pillows but overall it is a great value and will probably come back to it

If you love the cozy feel of a step back in time this is the cabin for you!! The icing on the cake was being up and close for 3 days with a momma and her 3 babies. Memories my kids and I have for a lifetime and plenty of pictures to go along with it!!! We loved our stay and will be going back in the future!

The hosts were excellent to work with. The house is a bit dated and needs some attention. The game room is fun but some of the games don’t work fully or have messed up screens. The air conditioning kept the house cool. We did get to meet the mama bear and three cubs that travel around. Mama came up on the deck one night and we had a close encounter!

The location was amazing for the price. The place was clean and it looked like there were some leftover items from previous visitors in drawers. You do need to remove plywood from the top of the hot tub because of the bears, but we used it twice during our stay. Access to the local pool is close by and well worth going to. The arcade room was great...even though a couple of them didn't work, it saved a ton of that would have been spent in town (and kept the younger group entertained). The central air kept the property cool, but there was some sediment that came out of one of the ducts (which we made the owners aware of). I only rated this a 4 based on some of the minor items that we let the owners know about, otherwise this would be a 5 star rating!

Everything was just like it said it was online. We had a awesome time and the kids had a blast, the cabin has plenty of room, clean, and well kept definitely will try to book again in future.

The amenities location hot tub gameroom and spacious cabin were all amazing. Being visited by a bear family on the back deck was great experience for the kids they were able to get up close veiws of the nears while in the safety of the home windows are hreat for viewing the bears

Loved this place!!!

House was perfect for our large group! Owners were very helpful with answering questions. We loved the hot tub, game room, the fire place conversation pit and the views!!

This was perfect for our blended family of youths and young adults. We even got visited by a bear family and later a raccoon - we didn’t feed nor approach any wildlife - just observed through the window as mama and her three cubs roamed the deck and walked on - but it was nothing short of magical!! I highly recommend this cabin and all the amenities including a Mack daddy of a game room!

Nice stay

The cabin was located in a very ideal place being within 5 minutes of downtown Gatlinburg. You could actually see the Ober Gatlinburg tram just overhead. The owners were highly responsive and the house came ready with everything you need for food prep as well.

The place was great for everyone kids and adults the only bad is the driveway is a little tuff to navigate but they all are up there and the place is a little dated but it did not bother us at all great location I would definitely book again

Great visit

We enjoyed staying at the Bear Drop Inn. There was plenty of space for our group of eight. There were a few things about the property that could be improved, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Nice older chalet. Clean and quiet. Lock your car doors, had a bear get in our car and trash it. Also had them watching us while we were in the hot tub and laying on the decks. Nice location to get in town and out to pigeon forge.
