Clean, comfortable and well stocked place. We enjoyed making dinner and hanging out at the house as well as local activities. The host was extremely responsive and helpful.

The hosts were awesome!!! The coziest country getaway you could ask for. the fire pit was awesome we made s’mores and sat by the fire which was nice, the fire wood was all provided through the hosts. Dave was very helpful with directions getting there. Bryce and his wife were awesome understanding and on top of anything we needed couldn’t have asked for a more accommodating stay thank you again we will be back soon!!!

Several things should’ve been mentioned in this listing including that it is right next to a Juvenile Detention Center and there is no stove or oven for cooking, only a microwave and convection oven. There was only enough dish soap for one days worth of dishes and an empty bottle of handsoap in the bathroom. Had to purchase both.There is absolutely NO water pressure and the hot water would be gone before I even got my face washed. On the plus side, there was a great selection of coffee pods as well as snacks on the counter, which were greatly appreciated. The hot tub was great!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the hot tub, coffee selection, and snacks. We’d like to clarify that the neighboring property is a youth rehabilitation center, not a juvenile detention center, though we understand the signage may cause confusion. The kitchen offers a microwave and convection oven rather than a traditional stove and oven. Oven and stove are not listed in our amenities, nor clear pictures of the kitchen. We provide a useful amount of dish soap along with detergent for the dishwasher, which guests are encouraged to use for sanitary purposes. Water pressure can be limited in our rural area. The property has an on-demand water heater designed to provide continuous hot water, so the interruption you described is very unusual. Thank you for bringing these concerns to our attention and helping us identify where we can improve.

Absolutely fell in love with this property. Will definitely rent again on our next trip to Red River Gorge. Perfect little getaway, and exactly like the pictures!

We were so happy with everything! The sleep was amazing—better than any high-end hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I was also impressed with the water; it was not hard and didn’t have any rotten egg smell. The hot tub was perfect after a day of hiking at The Gorge. I highly recommend it and will definitely book again!

Great for pets. I would consider adding a pet gate on the deck maybe :) Our dogs loved it and we loved it quiet and peaceful.

The cabin had absolutely everything we could have asked for. It was clean, stocked with nice new towels and wash cloths, a wonderful hot tub and fire pit area everything was perfect. I thought it would be in the woods but it didn’t matter because you felt secluded and private and it was close enough to red river gorge sites.

You can't get a better value. The price was similar to what you'd pay for a super low end room at a motel in a city, and yet this experience puts you at the height of luxury. You can really imagine what it would be like to be rich after retiring to the country. Property to wander, extremely low light pollution and dark sky conditions, high end appliances, extremely comfortable bed. I don't know if they mention it in the listing but they even have one of those fancy artificial fireplaces. You can hook up your bluetooth to speakers inside the hot tub and it has RGB lights. They also have these cute string lights around the whole back deck and fire pit area. They thought of everything. You can tell they've been at this for a while and have nailed down how to make everything go smooth and perfect. The host had a high touch but out of the way approach. What I mean is, every time I might have needed to contact them about something, they seemed to preempt this and reach out first. However, I never actually had to interact with a single human being in person during the whole trip. We literally showed up, used the door code they gave us, followed the few simple instructions they left, and got right into enjoying our stay. Super relaxing, its a great spot.

Enjoyed relaxing in this cozy cabin! The amenities were as listed and the property was clean. The outdoor setup is very nice and the hot tub was clean, well maintained, and very relaxing. The bed and furniture were super comfy! The host was easy to communicate with, answered all questions, and provided clear instructions. Would definitely stay there again if I plan to be in that area!

The host is awesome at communicating with you and answering any questions you have. The Cabin itself is amazing, cozy and so peaceful. The hot tub was relaxing to sit in, the firepit was good to sit at in the evening. I will definitely recommend this cabin to everyone looking for a relaxing getaway and Daisy is a friendly dog who comes to visit.
