Tucked down a private road on seven acres of peaceful scenery—yet close to adventure—Wildwood Wander Cabin offers beautiful views of Honeoye Lake. It’s the perfect getaway for families, couples, friends, and pets are encouraged to stay too! The cabin comfortably dines and sleeps four, with two full beds and a queen sleeper sofa. You’ll find it fully stocked with all your bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom essentials including: extra blankets, towels, soap, coffee & creamer, basic seasonings. We also have our own popcorn machine! On the property, enjoy wooded trails ideal for berry picking, hiking, snowshoeing, and even sledding in the winter. For indoor fun, we’ve got TVs, movies, WIFI, a dart board, board games, outdoor games, and cozy reading materials by the woodstove. Sip your morning beverage on the porch and gather under the stunning night stars around the fire. Nearby, you’ll find Harriet Hollister Park, Naples, Stony Brook State Park, Letchworth State Park, Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, and Hunt Hallow Ski Club for year-round adventure. ‼️PLEASE NOTE: A four wheel drive vehicle is essential to reach the cabin safely in winter months, possibly starting mid November.

We loved this cabin in the woods for a long weekend trip, the view from the front porch never got old! The cabin is very cute, was clean for our arrival and had pretty much anything we needed. Gallons of drinking water were provided, the kitchen had large and small appliances and dishes for cooking, coffee pods were provided for the kurig coffee maker, and the popcorn maker worked great! There were supplies to make a fire outside in the fire pit or inside stove. There were miscellaneous toiletries in the bathroom and bug spray! The cabin is very remote on a rugged driveway, but we were a little surprised that there are neighbors right next door. Overall a great stay!

Despite a few inconveniences, such as only one sink in the bathroom, the need to replace the remote batteries, and the neighbor's cabin being close, it was a relaxing atmosphere. We like to grill, and the hibachi wasn't convenient. We wish there had been grilling tools, too. The roads are narrow and rough, but that was part of the fun. The host was very responsive, and we would stay again.

Thank you for staying with us. The images of the cabin show only one sink in the bathroom and the listing description does say that there are neighbors. There was also a comment about "expecting the grill to be bigger" yet there is no grill on the listing... the grill at the cabin was left by the previous guests before you. I will be sure to leave grilling tools though as that is a great idea. Please note to yourself and future guests that there is $100 unapproved dog fee. Please add dogs at the time of booking to avoid this. This payment overdue for you, Heather. Thank you.

Everything was wonderful! The cabin was very clean, the view was breathtaking, and the host provided very nice gifts for everyone’s enjoyment! We loved having a chance to explore the property, and all of the little touches both outside and in the cabin. The host seemed very kind and communicated well, and everything worked out perfectly! Thank you again to the host for a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend to anyone!

Short term stay. The view from the back porch is breathtaking. The cabin was spacious and very well kept. The weather didn’t cooperate but I can imagine the view of the night sky would be as spectacular as the view of the landscape. The leaves were just beginning to change. We will surely make our next stay during peak foliage season.

Having stayed in many wooded locations without issue,the lack of pest prevention & the unhelpful response from the host made for a highly disappointing & unsanitary stay for our weekend that was supposed to be relaxing.The night of check-in ,we were awakened by the sound of rustling iced the bread bag on the counter had a hole bitten into it along with some rodent droppings .We found droppings on the kcup machine,in main area, bedroom ,bathroom,next to the kitchen door,& under the counter where other kitchen supplies were stored. I took pictures & contacted host first thing in the morning to notify them of the health hazard & whether proper cleaning supplies were available. She apologized and stated she had no traps in the cabin, blamed previous guests for possibly leaving a door open & dismissed it as a normal "high mouse population" because it’s a cabin in the woods. A cabin in a rural area may occasionally have mice,but guests still expect the property to be clean .My concern is after reporting evidence of rodent droppings in multiple areas of the cabin,no effort was made to clean the affected areas,inspect the property, or offer an alternative solution during our stay.We were told by the host that we could find cleaning supplies under the cabinet & on Sunday(after check out)she would look into it.We were left to remain in the cabin for our second night despite the issue &expected to sanitize areas contaminated on our vacation without gloves or proper supplies

Hi Alix, I’m sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. I will add that I did tell you the location of professional cleaning materials that were inside the cabin. I also asked you to follow up with me on the situation and asked if you needed anything in attempt to be supportive with the situation, but I did not receive any response from you. As a host, I provided a high level of communication but did not receive a response from you.
