Robin's Nest: Newly renovated home located on 60 acres of fields & forest.

The Robin's Nest house is one of three rental properties located at Lagom Landing, a retreat center nestled in the Little Finger Lakes and surrounded by Amish neighbors, mysterious gullies, and rolling hills. Guests are welcome to explore the 60 acres of grounds, play ping-pong in the barn, and borrow bikes, snowshoes and cross country skis to explore the area. With a week's notice, we can also host workshops on woodworking and carpentry, gardening, foraging, food preservation, and other skills.

Very clean and comfortable home on spacious and peaceful grounds. It was the perfect setting for a quiet getaway! We especially enjoyed sitting out on the raised decks and looking out over the beautiful property. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay!

Clean and peaceful! This rental is very well cared for and exceptionally clean. We really enjoyed the sustainability efforts and greener products used in the rental. The property is beautiful and peaceful. It’s a wonderful property.

We enjoyed our stay. The Robins Nest was very comfortable and the property was gorgeous with the well marked hiking trails. We would stay again.

We enjoyed a Thanksgiving weekend visiting family while staying at the Robin’s nest. The house was clean and cozy, and we enjoyed the serenity and natural setting of the property.

We had a great time at the Robin’s nest. We wanted a quiet rural getaway and it certainly delivered! It was quiet and serene, with beautiful grounds that our dogs REALLY enjoyed roaming. The porch in the back was great for just sipping coffee and taking in the nature. Check-in was easy and communication was great. We would love to come back again!

Robin’s Nest was the perfect get away ….a cozy house with all the amenities! The natural surroundings were spacious, well maintained and so peaceful. I especially loved the back porch with the glider rockers where you could sit and relax and just take in nature. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

Wedding vacation

Everything was smooth thanks to great communication from when we rented through checkout. The property was new, clean and comfortable. It was amazing seeing all the stars at night, an incredible bonus.

2025 family trip and my daughter 18 b-day also high school graduate.

We had a great stay at Robins nest. The host is very kind and sweet. The area is very quiet and you can hear all the birds chirping!! Recommend

The Robin’s Nest is set on a hillside with a breathtaking view of the late afternoon/evening sun. Our space was unbelievable with appliances a plenty. We didn’t miss the TV. We would recommend for a quiet spot to enjoy a peaceful stay. Loved the chickens!

Absolutely beautiful, quiet, and serene location. Loved hearing the birds singing. Lots of them! The landscape is awesome. Only wish we had known there was no TV in the house. My husband is slightly disabled and missed having a TV. We could have brought one if we had known. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable and relaxing.

Absolutely wonderful hosts and wonderful home/property. My daughter loved to go check on the bees. Laying beneath a tree enjoying the breeze enjoying sunsets on a super comfortable back porch are definitely highlights.

Rock and Laurel moved onto this land in 2009 and built the larger house on the property in 2010-2011. For 10 years we hosted gap-year cohorts of young adults learning hands on skills, and in 2022 began renovating the spaces to host adults of all ages for short-term stays, respite and rest, skill-learning, and spiritual discernment.

We love the rolling hills, the breezes, the birds and animals, and the quiet. We also love our Amish neighbors, who teach us so much in their slower way of life.
