Great little place on the side of the mountain. Only hard part was getting up the mountain.Was clean and everything was great. Loved the vibrating and tilting bed.

Kitchen had everything we needed, fire pit was relaxing, and a short drive to Mt Mitchell trail head. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely time. We were in town on business but every evening we made dinner and relaxed on the beautiful deck. The house was well equipped with kitchen cookware and the bathrooms had nice soaps and shampoos.I can’t say enough nice things about our stay.

The neighbors cows. Also saw a turkey and bunny.

I can't say enough nice things about Ruth's place. The host thought of everything. I can't imagine needing anything to cook in that beautiful kitchen that she did not already supply. You have the feeling of being secluded yet you're only minutes from downtown Burnsville, close to a grocery store, easy access, yet the wonderful feeling of being secluded during your stay. Ruth's place was spotless. It is the most immaculately clean VRBO I have ever stayed at. Check-In was very simple. Host was very responsive. Again, I cannot say enough good things about this place. I highly,highly recommend Ruth's place.

Wonderful time at Ruth’s Place. Very clean and excellent communication with the owner. We really enjoyed sitting outside under the twinkle lights with the fire pit. We hope to be back another time.

Everything was really clean. The cabin has all the essentials you would need and more for your stay. There is an ingles grocery store about 3-4 min away which is convenient. The property manager was easy to get in touch with and very accommodating . Overall we had no issues with this property. Would stay again and recommend to others if they are in the area.

The cabin is beautiful with nice finishes and appliances. Although the weather was cold and rainy, I had a perfect stay by just cooking, relaxing, and enjoying the view. The hosts are very thoughtful and had outdoor lights and a nice Christmas tree waiting upon arrival...! The location is just 5-10 minutes from Ingles, but feels remote. I highly recommend.
