Summary:
Come enjoy this chic cabin getaway on 5.5 acres of prairie, aspen grove, and evergreens, adjacent to state land. Tranquility and views abound. Vaulted oak ceilings, polished concrete floors, two-sided gas fireplace, two master suites (one with an office) and a third bedroom with bunk bed. Stay during the fall to fish, to hike, and see the aspens turn. Stay during the winter to sit by the fire, snowshoe, or ski. Stay anytime to see the Milky Way as you fall asleep at night.
The Space:
The upstairs master has views for miles, a heated balcony, a walk-in closet, and large office (perfect for a writing studio). And the stars are visible from the king-size bed at night. The downstairs master also has views, and don't be surprised if antelope--or even a moose--walk by the southeast facing ceiling to floor windows. For your convenience there is an armoire, a closet , and a bathroom with tub and shower combo. Finally, the third bedroom has glass French doors that open to a small, bright sitting area. The room has a full size bed on the bottom and a twin bed up top. There is a bookshelf for your belongings and an additional bookshelf with books. The floor is covered in a plum-colored shag rug that says, "cozy!" The kitchen is stocked to address all your culinary needs and includes a toaster, blender, and espresso maker.

The Neighborhood:
We are a quick jaunt on a paved road off of 285, but border thousands of acres of public lands. And we're still ten minutes to downtown South Park/Fairplay, to Millonzi's and the Brown Burro, great tamales, and the local grocery. We are two hours from Boulder, 20 minutes to the stunning Kenosha Pass, and under forty minutes to Breckenridge. Walking distance to trails and a five minute drive to the trailhead for the stunning Limber Grove.
Getting Around:
The roads to our home are fairly flat and are plowed and maintained by the County. Its near the bottom of the mountains and near to the major roads so it has easier access than most in the winter. We pay for snow removal on the driveway.
Other Things to Note:
We have business-class high speed internet and a premium mesh wifi network. We have worked from home and have significant video demands. We have also had numerous guests who have worked form home and have had great experiences. The main suite has a gorgeous built in desk in a side room.
For longer term guests, we require the house to be cleaned by our cleaner every two weeks to minimize wear and tear. This will be $250 for each extra cleaning (in addition to the $250 checkout cleaning) and you'll need to make sure the house is available to the cleaner.
Please note that our property is at 10,000 feet elevation. If you or your guests are sensitive to elevation, please take proper precautions.
We have a television, but we store it in a vestibule closet until we want it. It can be moved into the living room (or anywhere) and set on a bench or small table as you see fit. We do not have cable, but we have Chromecast and the necessary attachments for you to play your computer through the tv.
