Great Cabin that over looks the Osage River, in Tuscumbia, MO. This cabin is a 2 bedroom cabin - 1 queen size bed and 1 full size bed, full kitchen and laundry set up, 1 bath with tub and shower. Smart TV so that you can stream you favorites, internet available. Air conditioned. Great front porch to enjoy your morning coffee or nice evening cocktail while watching the river go by, may even see a few Eagles and other wildlife. Check-in couldn't have been better. Hosts were very friendly. Could've easily made good friends with them. Welcomed us with 2 bottles of wine and fresh fruit. If we're ever in the area again we will definitely look this place up again. Very pleasant stay.

EVERYTHING about this place is a 10/10

Everything about this cabin, location, the owners, the people, literally everything is WONDERFUL. The property is clean and wonderfully maintained. It felt like home as soon as we walked in the door. We cannot wait to visit again, this is definitely one you will want to return to over and over.

Lil stay by the river

We had an amazing stay. The host were so nice and accommodating! The cabin was so cute and fully stocked. She had it very well decorated! They are pet friendly and very sweet to our dog. The views of the river were beautiful to wake up to and the cabin and town has an interesting history. We loved the peacocks and def recommend staying here for all those fisherman as they’re a boat ramp right across the street! Very cool spot, with very nice host Will be coming back!

Nice Getaway

This is a comfortable rustic home, away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are wonderful and welcoming. The area is great for hiking around.

Cozy cabin

My wife and a few of her friends had a very plesant stay at the cabin. It was located perfectly in the middle of the events they scheduled and was very cozy and comfortable for there stay.

Will Definitely Stay There Again

Everything we needed was there. Very adorable and charming house. Rhonda was nice on our arrival and showed us through the house. Lots of towels, pans, extra linens, etc My favorite part was seeing the Osage river from the front windows and cute patio. It felt so private and cozy. We will definitely book again.

Amazing place to stay!! The cabin was perfect and the scenery overlooking the river was beautiful!

My friend and I had the best weekend staying at this cabin!! The cabin is super cute and very clean!! We also had so much fun floating in the river! Cannot wait to stay there again!! Thank you Rhonda and Chevy!!

Very quiet cabin on the river. Came early to drop off my suitcase, host said they had a water leak and they had it fuxed when I came back. Great place. leak

Great Vacation,

Just wanted to say this is a great little place to stay. Just a short Drive to Osage Beach area. My Family and I had a wonderful 8 days at this little Cabin. The Owners Rhonda and Chevy are Fantastic People, had a great time talking with them. I'd definitely recommend this cabin to anyone. Would definitely go back again !!!

Down by the riverside

Lovely cabin with a cool history right on the Osage River. Generally very quiet with only the occasional passing car and the sounds of the local peacocks and hummingbirds for a peaceful background. Rhonda and Chevy are awesome hosts; be sure to have a chat with them when you get a chance.

Relaxing stay by the river

We had an amazing, relaxing time! Her place is literally right across the street from the river. Gorgeous view! Super cute place with a cabin feel to it. She was very friendly, greeting us when we first arrived, showing us around, left a couple bottles of wine for us to enjoy. Had all the amenities we could need. The peacocks roaming around the area was an extra treat! Thank you so much for the great stay! We will definitely hope to stay again when we are in the Osage Beach area. ❤️

A very inviting cabin with a view of the Osage River. We were met by the owner, Chevy & felt at home. They provided 2 bottles of local wine as a welcome gift. There was coffee in the cabinet with filters to make the next morning. Very unusual in a VRBO to receive these amenities. What else do you need! Pleasant stay!! Charming cabin!

Anniversary stay

It has been a long while since my wife and I stayed anywhere other than home for our anniversary! Chevy and Rhonda made it very special all over again! Can't wait to return! The cottage was very warm and inviting, just what we were looking for! They went out of their way to make everything perfect along with the extras I requested they placed in the room before or arrival ! My wife was happy! I highly recommend looking then up!

A little piece of Ozarks paradise!

I rented this cabin for a girls' trip with my sisters and mom. I checked out other rentals in the main area of LOZ, but it seemed so crowded, and my mom specifically said she wanted to be, "far away from everyone." This place fit the bill! Upon arrival, I was met by John aka Chevy (the property owner), who told me he'd turned on the AC full blast (it was a 90+ degree day) and that there was wine and fruit waiting for me! Very first thing I noticed is that the property pictures on VRBO do this cabin NO justice. It has a beautiful setting, just feet away from the Osage River, with a background of Ozark river bluffs! It was beautiful, clean, and it seemed more updated than the pics I saw on the listing. I was pleased to see they had wifi available, and a brand new flat screen TV with satellite. The decor was very country shabby chic, and there were plenty of blankets, pillows, and towels to keep us all comfy and clean. We vegged out the majority of the weekend, and with the sweltering heat outside the cool cabin was a welcome escape. We did make it to LOZ once, but we just couldn't wait to get back to our cabin to relax. We didn't take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen, but we DID enjoy the complimentary Starbucks coffee they provided us. The kitchen was modern, with a full stove top and oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, full sized fridge, dishes, utensils, the works. At night we relaxed outside on the porch with a few beers or a glass of wine, looked up at the stars, and listened to the sounds of the river. One thing I love about the country is it's never quiet, and you're never truly alone. We saw deer, bats, armadillos, birds (orioles!!), giant bull frogs, plus all of the neighborhood pets! I took my sister and walked down to the river shore, and we could see the Milky Way it was so dark. The owners live right next door, and they were very accommodating, and so pleasant to chat with. You could tell that running the cabins is not just a business to them, it's a passion. They too appreciated the value of living life in the slow lane. All in all, we had an AMAZING, comfortable, leisurely weekend here, and I WILL return again. If you're looking to take a LOZ trip but dont want the hassle of the crowds and expensive hotels, check this place out!! You wont regret it!

Exceptional experience

Rhonda and Chevy are 2 of the best people you will ever meet! The whole experience was one that I will remember always, and we will definitely go back. Scenery was beautiful, hosts were amazing, cabin was cozy and historic, and overall had a wonderful time!

Short weekend getaway

Rhonda and Chevy were excellent hosts. The cabin was exactly as described. Fresh fruit, eggs & wine such an excellent perk.. even if we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it all on our short trip. Hope to come back again to enjoy this little cabin on the river.
