Apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved the location! Every day we stepped out and within minutes could be walking along the river, shopping, or on the train. And so many amazing cafes right surrounding us! Excellent communication throughout booking and check in. Great experience and would definitely return!

We had the most fantastic stay with Alain-serge as our host. The apartment is spacious and light, and very well appointed with every convenience you need. The location could not have been better, right in the heart of Le Marais and all the buzz and fun it brings. We cannot recommend the property highly enough, and will definitely be be back to stay again. Fantastic and helpful communication from our host at all times as well. Loved it.

The location; the apartment layout, including a terrific living room and kitchen/dining. Beds are comfortable. The small bathrooms are a bit of a challenge, but doable.

Excellent apartment with many amenities. Location is within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and interesting historical sites. Uber trips made it easy to get anywhere you want in 30 minutes or less. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a trouble-free stay in a great location.

Great Luxury Apartment in Le Marais

The is a splashy and wonderful luxury apartment in Le Marais. It had three ensuite bathrooms for the three bedrooms, a rarity in Paris. The host was helpful and attentive. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location.Very friendly host with excellent, easy and open communication.Spacious property.Beautiful living, dining areas.Comfortable beds.Minor peeling of paint and some mildew in washrooms but decidedly not terrible: overalla truly wonderful place to stay, in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Paris.

Excellent space!

The apartment has large communal areas and bedrooms. We felt we had space for privacy but also plenty of room to gather together. The location is great being just a couple blocks from the Place des Voges. A delicious coffee shop just opened across the street - Arabica. We'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Magic in Marais

We have stayed in many apartments in Paris. This time we needed 3 bedrooms for our adult family and wanted to be in the Marais area. The accommodations took our breath away with separate bathrooms in each bedroom. The location was great and close to the neighborhood we were used to staying in.Contact with the owner was excellent from start to finish!

Beautiful apartment in Le Marais

Seemless checkin and check out. Beautiful apartment in a wonderful and accessible neighborhood. Shopping, restaurants and transportation within a couple of blocks. Our host was extremely responsive, answering questions immediately. Plenty of room for 3 couples to stay.

Stylish in the Marais

This home is not only gorgeous and spacious; it is smack dab in the heart of the Marais - just one block from the Place des Vosges. Despite being on a relatively busy street it was rather quiet. It met or exceeded our expectations.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely flat. Communication with Alain Serge was easy from beginning to end. We couldn’t have asked for a more well located, beautiful place to stay. Perfect for exploring. We enjoyed the shops, museums and restaurants all within walking distance. There’s a Monoprix just a few minutes walk away. The kitchen was well outfitted. We loved the ability to have breakfast together in the morning before heading off for the day. And the air conditioning in the bedrooms came in very handy as it got quite warm during our stay. Loved our stay and look forward to coming back.

Incredible flat in the Paris 3rd ARR

Lovely flat / apartment in the Le Marais 3rd ARR. literally dozens and dozens of restaurants/ bars within close walking distance. Don’t bother renting a car, bus, Metro line trains all close. Full kitchen, fully equipped for those wanting a home cooked meal with French ingredients. Close markets and outdoor markets was a huge plus. Will sleep 6 comfortably. Outstanding VRBO!! Big thumbs up.

Wonderful Stay in Le Marais

There were six of us (all adults) and we loved this apartment. It is very spacious , clean, and has all of the necessities to make the trip enjoyable. Alain-Serge answered emails quickly and he let us check in very early (our plane came in from the US in the morning) - making things much easier for us. The location could not be better. There is an excellent bakery minutes away on the Rue de Turenne, a grocery store for stocking up on essentials is also close by, and there are lots of restaurants, shops & cafes. If we were to all come again, this is where we would stay.

Alain-Serge is an excellent host!From the moment we booked until we sadly left this magnificent property, communication with he & his assistant, Remy, was easy. The apartment is much more beautiful, bright and quiet than any pictures.and the building with courtyard is charming. The location is our favorite street in Le Marais.Beds very comfortable which allowed us to sleep well as it’s oh so quiet.Kitchen is amazing and fully stocked, all appliances in perfect working order. The perfect home away from home

We were beyond pleased with the accommodations Alain advertised. The photos actually do not convey how large and comfortable the unit feels one inside. Alain-Serge advised of a minor issue with the unit in advance of our stay and offered assistance in a work around that worked out well. Check in was easy and the user guide provided all the information necessary for the stay. After posting on our social media, several friends have requested the unit information. There will not be a shortage of use for this unit. Thank you Alain-Serge for a wonderful place to call home during our week stay in Paris! We will be back!

A pleasant retreat in the Marais

Alain's apt is well located on Rue Francs-Bourgeois near the Place de Vosges. The area has many boutiques and small restaurants withing walking distance. There are fewer grocers and boulangeries immediately near the apt, but nice ones west of the apt on Rue Rambuteau or north on Rue de Bretagne. The apt was comfortable despite the heat (95 F) The addition of a couple of fans supplemented the AC in the bedrooms. The kitchen was very well equipped if you like to cook. The refrigerator's ice cube maker was most welcomed. Alain was a responsive host and accommodated our very early arrival. While we were only a party of 3, the apt sleeps 6 in 3 separate bedrooms with their own bathrooms (showers& toilet)

An Olympic gold medal stay

We planned a trip to Paris for the Olympics more than a year ago for my wife and I, our two adult children and their partners. After our initial VRBO reservation at 25 Rue de Tournon was abruptly canceled only one month before our departure, I was very thankful that Alain-Serge’s Marais apartment was available for our committed dates of travel and events at the games. The residence is elegant and spacious and each bedroom had air conditioning which was critical in the August heat. The location is great as well, convenient to several metro lines, great restaurants and shopping. In the end I was grateful that Ludovic cancelled us, as his location was much more Sterile and not as inviting, particularly for young adults.

Clean Large Convenient Well Maintained Excellent Host

The property was well described in the listing, though it is hard to describe well how the master bedroom is laid out. It should be noted that the sleeping space if lofted above the exercise room and not vice versa. The apartment was modern although the structure it lies within is quite old. There are hints of antiquity everywhere.The property was clean and well maintained. The host did not meet us. but rather his representative. Our flight was delayed but the gentleman patiently awaited us to give us the keys and show us the "user manual" for the place. Thank You.Of note. When we encountered the drain of the shower backing up, we notified the host and he quickly dispatched a plumber to fix it on a Sunday Evening! This excellent and timely response was better than I expected, The walk to the two nearest Metro stops is several blocks and there is a staircase to climb within the structure to get to the apartment. Both my wife and I have bad knees but we were able to manage this without difficulty. We stayed tout out two adult children and their respective partners and the apartment served six adults quite well.We would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants an authentic Parisian experience.
