Serene 1 bedroom condo on the shore of Lake Michigan in Algoma Wisconsin. Just 20 minutes from Door County and 30 minutes from Lambeau field. Enjoy the gorgeous panoramic view on your private patio while sipping your morning cup of coffee or enjoying a glass of wine from Algoma's Von Stiehl winery. The choice is yours, so much to do or just sit back and relax. Sleeps Maximum of 2 people. Gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, Roku and Wi Fi. *This is not a resort so we will need 48 HR notice.

Disappointed stay

The view was excellent! Loved staying right on the beach and walking the beach every day, hearing the waves almost our entire stay. The interior of the condo was fine and clean, but musty smelling and damp from the humidity. No A/C and not enough windows to keep good airflow. Listing says washcloths and towels provided - we only had a total of 3 for 2 people for 3 days. We had to go out and buy more. I would have just brought some from home if I had known. Key was a little challenging to find. Host was COMPLETELY unresponsive. The worst: the bedroom window has to be open for air flow since no a/c, but it literally opens to the neighbor’s patio who was up and down all night long to smoke a cigarette and scroll through Facebook right outside our bedroom window - all weekend long!!! We will not be back.

Best view of the Lake

Unfortunately, we picked the hottest days to stay, and while we knew there wasn't air conditioning, we weren't able to open the windows due to the neighbor's frequent smoking. The lakeview, patio, sunrise, and sunsets were stunning. To be noted... While the back of the condo is on the lake level, coming in the front entrance you will need to go down about 10 steps to get to the front door. A little cumbersome with luggage. We would definitely stay again!

Lake Michigan is the reason

All day and all night the sounds of the waves breaking on the sand give you peace and serenity. A quite place to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Read, walk, or let the waves take you away, you'll be sure to be refreshed and energized after your stay!

I bought this for my parents. My Mom is 84 and we were unaware of the numbers of stairs required to get to the condo. They had to find help to get their luggage up the stairs. Otherwise they enjoyed the condo.

Rockhounding

Manager was responsive to a small plumbing issue. I did have several expired requests (expires after 24hrs) for rental requests. I kept sending requests and was confirmed. Beautiful location. Perfect place to do some Rockhounding. Even found some "Yooperlites" Great experience

Quick getaway

The location was perfect. The unit was very clean and as advertised. The stay would have been 5 stars if I didn’t find an old pod left in the coffee maker when I went to use it, and if the owner responded to any of my messages.

Relaxing

Property was right on the water and relaxing only two cons for us. First as others mentioned the bedroom window looks out to the neighbors patio. Which wouldn't be a huge deal but the neighbor is up all night and constantly going in and out of his sliding door. Next is the one ply toilet paper. We saw this on a previous review and brought our own to use. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Loved listening to the waves all night.

Has a great view and nice quiet community. Location was perfect to get to the different towns we visited. The one negative was the bedroom window looked out into neighbors patio so no privacy if the curtains were open.

My husband and I will be staying in this same condo for the second time. We love the location, the views, the peacefulness and all the people.
