The top floor condo was wonderful! The view is incredible. We enjoyed morning coffee on the lanai. Everything you could need is at this condo. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The sunsets were beautiful from the lanai. The Royal Mauian is a quiet and relaxing complex.

This unit was absolutely amazing! The views were simply breathtaking right on the ocean with a perfect view of the beach. It is also very close to a number of restaurants, including The Cinnamon Role Place! The condo was incredibly well-equipped with everything you could possibly need: beach chairs, boogie boards, and a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots and pans you’d need to cook a full meal. We especially enjoyed the rooftop BBQ area the propane grill made everything super easy and convenient. The King-size bed in the primary bedroom was so comfortable, and the twin beds in the guest room were perfect as well. Claudia, the host, was truly the best I've ever interacted with. She responded quickly to our messages, was extremely friendly, and even allowed us an early check-in, which was a lifesaver after our flight. We absolutely fell in love with this place and are already dreaming of the day we can return. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful view and great place to stay. This condo provides the beach towels, chairs and even a sand bucket! I also loved that there was plenty of laundry detergent and dishwasher soap. (You know how some places give you a "starter pack"... at this condo it is just included.)The location between two beaches was great. Loved the chairs in the grass area for sitting and reading. Sunsets were incredible. We enjoyed the walking distance to restaurants and ice cream.I will share that this condo association is more for adults or parents with little ones. They have a rule for no games, no balls/sports. In the pool, there are signs posted that says you can't even play marco-polo. They clearly don't want the noise. We were traveling with tweens and teens and it was hard keeping them from playing games on the grass and in the pool. While we were at the pool, a man came hurrying out of a condo to yell at some teenagers (not our kids thankfully) for misbehaving. He pointed out the cameras and told them that he was watching them from inside. So just beware of this.The condo owner is great to work with. Responds to questions well. Also, there were previous comments in the reviews about bedroom air conditioning noise...must have been fixed. It was not a problem for us.

In the Heart of Kihei

We chose this location for its easy access to the sand and water as well as near restaurants and shops. It’s near all that and easy access to the highway to go to other special interest spots on island.

Just Right

This place is in a wonderful location in Kihei, a wonderful beach just out of the building, a load of good food around and also a lot within walking distance. The set up for a family is perfect because the sound does not travel from the front bedroom and the back bedroom (thick walls two bathrooms between and extra doors). I wake up early so having a place where everyone can hear everything is terrible, this was the opposite. The balcony was a great place to hang out. The manager Claudia was kind and offered helpful tips for the island. Highly reccomend. Also, if you wonder like we did if the palm tree in the photos block the view because of how it looks in the photos, it did not, I did not even notice the palm tree when staying there. Mahalo :)

Amazing views and location

The property was as good as advertised, and the location is unreal as far as views and ocean access. Amazing snorkeling right out front and you are on the beach within 2 min of leaving the unit.Claudia is great and easy to deal with.

Wonderful location

This was our second stay at the Royal Mauian but in new unit. The location is what brought us back. I did encounter some issues with this unit. Guest room beds were not made up as twins and at 10:30pm found ourselves trying to find bedding and make up room. Also air conditioning units were very noisy and guest bedroom really couldn’t be left on overnight. Kitchen could also use a few more tools.

Abundant whales

Great location to walk the beach and whale watch. Street noise is a problem and the bedroom air conditioners were too loud. However the view was spectacular. Claudia was wonderful to work with. The rooftop was awesome with the tables and chairs and grills.

Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

We can’t say enough positive things about this place! The condo was very comfortable, AC worked great, the entire space was as clean as can be. The views off the lanai are immaculate no matter the time of day. This spot is in the perfect location, plenty of shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.Claudia is an amazing host, we were very pleased to get an early check in along with great communication from her if we ever had any questions. Very happy during our visit and can’t wait to be back!

Most beautiful setting

Great stay. Most amazing setting. Close to everything. Had a wonderful experience. Would stay again. Claudia (property manager) was a great communicator. Upon arrival, there was an issue with the A/C. Claudia was right on top of it and had it repaired immediately.

Amazing view but property jacked in cleanliness

We enjoyed the views and the location of the property, however we had to redo the dishes and the floors were grimey. You would expect more for this price range.

Beautiful Views and Close to Beach

We just got home from a great stay in Kihei. Missing the sounds of the ocean already! This property is located close to a lot of restaurants and stores as well as conveniently located between two public beaches. I spent a long time looking for a great location where we could walk to the beach and stores and was pleased with the final choice at the Royal Mauian, which is where this property is located. Pros: - Close to shops and beaches - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is awesome - Patio/balcony is great and overlooks beach - On the top (6th) floor so you can see for miles - Rooftop access is close and awesome Cons: - Oven wasn't working (stovetop did) and the dryer was tough to operate. Both were being replaced after our stay, sometimes these things happen and the property manager was very responsive and helpful, so it's kind of a pro/con because communication was great. - The building/association had a ton of rules that were sometimes super silly, like no balls, music or games like Marco Polo in the pool, which seemed kind of hilarious to me. We have a teen, so no big deal for us but I can imagine if you had younger kids in the pool it would be a downer. The list of rules got a little comical like that at some points. I think there are a lot of older retired residents living there and they aren't fans of younger kids or renters. Didn't have a problem or anything, you could just tell from the signs and rules.

The best thing is the location and view. Unit is in need of some updating for sure. A little deficient in kitchen utensils. We cleaned the floors twice due to feet getting so dirty from the sand - should require shoe removal, There should be instructions for operating the a/c and tv system like we've seen at other properties.

Paradise at Christmas time
