Located in Kansas City, this marvelous apartment features 1 bedroom with a cozy queen bed. The bathroom is equipped with a refreshing shower, and you'll find amenities like AC, heating, and a hair dryer for your convenience. Enjoy all that Kansas City has to offer when you stay at our place. We live upstairs and are a very quiet couple, so don’t worry about a noisy place. The apartment is in the basement of our home in a well established urban neighborhood in south Kansas City. If you have mobility issues, please message us to see if the place will work for you.

Great location for Kansas City. Host was very communicative and place was clean. Appreciated the lighted path at night to the door. The shower is a big step in and out but everything was great. Thank you again.

This was our first VRBO stay and the experience was great. The hosts were excellent communicators and were interested in us having a good experience. The property was clean, easily accessible (not handicap accessible), and we had all of the things we needed to enjoy our stay. This is in the lower level of a home, and you can hear some walking above, but nothing annoying or that would cause anyone to lose sleep. The entry/exit opens to their backyard and the neighborhood was lovely - and safe. Parking was available in their driveway. We truly enjoyed ourselves on this trip and I would recommend this property to anyone.

This was the perfect overnight stay for a wedding we attended in the area. The host was kind enough to let us check-in early so we could change and make the afternoon wedding.Everything just as pictured, comfortable bed, Kerug coffee maker with plenty of pods available.The only things we would note is that it was really chilly in the space but plenty of blankets available. The next morning I had only cold water to shower. I let the hosts person know that was staying to dog watch so I hope she conveyed to the owner.Thank you again. The cold shower wasn’t half bad after the hot reception we had been to the night before.

We always have hot water for the shower. It is hooked up backwards, so maybe that caused the confusion.

The entry way was not lit at night. The path going down was very hard for my sister who is in a cast, uneven and slippery. Couch was not comfortable. Couldn’t figure out how to lock the door.

The entryway light can be turned on from inside the unit. To lock the door, simply hold the lock button. The unit it not meant for those who have mobility issues as it is down a short path in the lower level of our home.

It was very nice! I didn't really expect the houseowners to be there but the listing does say it's in their basement so that makes total sense and didn't interfere with our stay. The laundry machines were blocked off from another room with temporary walls so I was worried about noise traveling but I didnt notice any. The property owners were also very nice and answered our questions.

It was a nice place with plenty of space to enjoy. Didn’t see a dish washing utensil with the dish soap so we used the paper towel. Other than that, nice kitchenette for preparing small meals or snacks. Could use a few glasses for juice, wine or anything else. Plenty of coffee cups and good coffees. Overall a good experience.

We’re Missouri natives who love time with family and friends. Chrissy is a teacher and Chuck is retired from law enforcement. We’ve been married since 1989. We enjoy travel, dining out, listening to music, and watching the Kansas City Chiefs.

We live in the upper level of the house, so we know a lot about the neighborhood. We enjoy our neighbors. Everyone is friendly and hardworking. We have a Dollar General close by and also the famous Fox and Bull baking company. Both are located with a 1/2 mile of the apartment. Located 3 miles away to the west is the Red Bridge area with Minor Park, Wonderscope Children’s Museum, The Red Bridge Shopping Center is also 3 miles away with a grocery store, CVS, restaurants and small shops. One of the best features is our proximity to the interstate system in KC. This puts us within 10 minutes of the Chiefs and Royals, St, Joseph Hospital, and the Overland Park Convention Center.
