Get the best of both worlds: enjoy the uniqueness of Asheville’s most historic neighborhood and enjoy being only 1.5 miles from Asheville city center. Our private entrance ground floor suite has all you need to explore. At only a short neighborhood drive (3-5 min), you will be close to everything in town.

Our unique space is filled with our own art and items from our world travels and is equipped with local coffee and beer so you get a taste of our city.

Our fully private suite is on the ground level of our brand new green-built home. We travel around the world for work and pleasure and have decorated our suite with items from East, South, and West Africa, the Middle East, Europe, antiques from our family, and paintings from our own art studio.

The completely private suite has a beautiful living area, custom kitchenette with beautiful quartz countertops, 2 bedrooms, private full bath, and private entrance with an outside sitting area. The custom kitchenette has a sink, microwave, electric kettle, fridge/freezer, 2 ways of making coffee, and a toaster. We provide fresh ground local coffee with your choice of pour-over or coffee machine, tea, 4 local beers in the fridge for you to enjoy. Guests have full control over their heating and air.

Sorry, after a few years of hosting we realized that our space is not conducive to bachelor/bachelorette parties

We live at the end of a street in the beautiful historic Montford neighborhood, which is adjacent to city center. We love walking to the 1.5 miles to town from our house (35 minute walk), where the walk is all neighborhood roads until you get to the bridge that connects us to the city center.

Girls Weekend

Clean & beautiful space with 2 bedrooms on opposite sides. Nicely decorated. Cute as can be. Close to everything. One of us had to park on the muddy narrow street and walk down dark driveway so be aware if you are in more than 1 car. Could sometimes hear footsteps above from owners but not overwhelming.

Asheville Visit

Enjoyed our stay. Well kept, with nice ammenities. Comfortable for two couples or a family of four. At night arrival could use a little more lighting….ran into a bear and cub which was exciting but probably would have been better responded to if we had a little More light to have observed them. Second bedroom could use a new bed. Otherwise, terrific!

Great location!

This beautiful, well appointed apartment was perfectly located for our long weekend with visits to Biltmore Estate, River Arts District, and restaurants. I especially liked that it's in a wooded area with little to no traffic.

Excellent getaway

My daughter and I stayed here for three days and it was fantastic. Alexis made us feel very welcome. The suite was clean and well furnished, and the small amenities were a nice touch. We were close to everything and the neighborhood is idyllic. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway.

Visit to Asheville

The accommodation was exactly as stated. It was spotless and in a safe location which are two things that are extremely important to me. I would highly recommend this rental.

I live in Asheville, NC. I travel all over the world with my non profit Playing to Live, and I have stayed in short term rentals from Europe to Africa. I am an art therapist in Asheville, and when I am not traveling I spend a lot of time in the national forest mountain biking and hiking. I enjoy painting and sewing, which you will see all over my short term rentals space.

After staying in so many short term rentals, I am excited to host in my brand new home. When I travel I gather handmade items and fabric, which I am so excited to have displayed in my short term rentals apartment. I also have a strong Appalachian background, so it has been fun to combine the two aesthetics.

We bought this house because it stood out from every other property we looked at. We have the benefit of being 1.5 from town as well as in one of the most sought after neighborhoods, but we also live next to a farm and are situated on top of a hill that gives us tons of privacy. It is a brand new house (finished in December 2017) and is also green certified. We absolutely love our home.
