Make family memories by the coast at this newly built, family-friendly Carolina Beach duplex! With plenty of room for the whole crew, a fenced backyard for kids and four-legged family members, and the beach just a six-minute walk away, this bright and comfortable three-bedroom retreat makes it easy to settle in and enjoy Carolina Beach.

The location puts you close to local favorites including the Veggie Wagon, Tiki Bar, and Fun Time Ice Cream, with convenient access to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, restaurants, shops, and weekend farmers market!

The open-concept main level is designed for spending time together. Prepare family meals in the well-equipped kitchen, gather around the table for dinner or game night, or relax on the sofa after a day in the sun. The breezy balcony is a great spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind in the evening too!

Outside, the fenced backyard is especially convenient for families traveling with children and dogs, giving everyone a little extra space to enjoy. An outdoor shower makes rinsing off sandy feet and paws after the beach easy.

Upstairs, the primary suite offers a relaxing retreat with a spacious en suite bathroom, private balcony, and comfortable daybed that's perfect for lounging or accommodating younger children.

Loved how close it was to the Greenway, tons of people out walking dogs which was great since we brought ours. Plenty of room, updated kitchen and baths. Overall would go back again for sure

Very clean and neat

Our stay here was great! The condo was very clean and neat and had plenty of room. The neighborhood was very quiet and we were able to relax. I would definitely stay there again.

Great townhome, close to beach and activities. Beautiful neighborhood for walks. Only con was we noticed a few riaches indoors.

Property was clean and very nice. Dishwasher didn’t work as well as it should, the fridge gave us problems being cold enough at first (our ice cream nearly melted being in the freezer), & had to keep readjusting the thermostats. Overall it is a nice place & is very clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Everything you need including a GOLF CART!

Really enjoyed the golf cart, so I didn’t have to walk or load up the car for rides to the beach and around town. All amenities were excellent! TV’s, WiFi and electronics were super. 100% will stay there again. Great central location.

Lovely home near the beach!

Home was very pretty and clean. Close proximity to the beach and having access to the golf cart was a big plus!! The beds weren’t very comfortable and the water pressure left something to be desired but we made due. All in all it was a fun place to get away for a few days.

Amazing Getaway

We were somewhat skeptical of this property due to the limited number of reviews but we had an amazing stay! The property was pristine and had more than enough space to accommodate everyone in our party of 9 (4 adults, 5 kiddos) and the location was close to everything we needed. To top things off, there is even a golf cart provided which seats 6; we were able to get to the beach, restaurants, and boardwalk in a flash.

The house was beautiful and exactly as pictured! The location was very safe, quiet, only 4 blocks from the beach, with space enough for parking 3 SUVs.A couple of notes for the owner: the slats in the outside shower are the same width and distance apart as the slats of the fence - any neighbor can look through the fence and get peeks of whoever is in the shower from all directions.It would be nice to have a table or seating in the backyard, along with a grill.If you're not going to have dressers for clothing in the bedrooms, add some cubbies or more hangers or shelves to the closets of the 2nd & 3rd bedrooms. It was inconvenient to have to keep my full bag on the floor when I only had about a foot and a half of space on each side of the bed to walk around the downstairs bedroom. The dogs loved it and my apologies for the mountain of dog hair they left! If there was a broom & dust pan for guest use, I would have swept! The main living space was really comfortable between the kitchen, dining area, living area and deck, really nice flow and tons of seating - all in all, I would stay here again with a couple of little tweaks! Great house for a great price :)

Great Stay!

This home is very spacious and well maintained. It’s within very close proximity to the beach (you can hear the waves from the home) and also close to many local eateries. This home is definitely dog friendly, we enjoyed having the private fenced in backyard for our pup. The internet was super fast and the owner had several steaming services available for viewing. Overall, this is a great property, would certainly rent again!

Relaxing Vacation

The home was surprisingly spacious and welcoming. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The house is situated in a beautiful neighborhood, and the beach is about a 5-10 minute walk. Close to some really delicious local favorites too (Butts and Such, Uncle Vinny’s, and the Peach Cobbler Factory). The fact that it is a pet friendly property is a plus, so the entire family can enjoy a vacation! 🐾

house was okay. main issue was kitchen. it was very dirty. appliances need replaced ASAP. dishwasher did not clean dishes and could be a fire hazard. most dishes, cups, utensils etc were really dirty and needed to be washed by hand prior to using. stove was very erratic with temperature as were stove burners. there are better rental options.

Great house and location!

We stayed at the Mack #2 to be close to a wedding venue and also the beach! It was the perfect location to both. I can’t say enough nice things about the house. Everything was clean and ready to go upon our arrival. The outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off after the beach. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and both balconies. We had to reach out to VACASA a couple of times and each time they were quick to respond and very helpful each time! We hope to come stay again in the future to make more memories !

Wonderful trip

My husband went on this vacation with our little dog. We had invited our children and grandchildren but they couldn’t make it, so it was just the 2 of us with so much room. It was a wonderful trip. The home is beautiful and had a very clean smell to it when we arrived. Loved the back yard for my girl to be let outside without her leash. We could not have ask for a better experience. Thank you Vacasa and thank your cleaning staff.

Wonderful weekend in CB!

We really enjoyed our stay at the #1 Mack! Everything seemed brand new. It was super clean and comfortable. Fully stocked with everything you need for a week. I loved the huge tv in the living room for watching movies at night. The golf cart made it so easy to get everything to the beach that the distance didn’t even matter. We took to the golf cart to the beach, shops, restaurants, aquarium, really everywhere. Great private fenced in back yard for the family and pups to play. I will be booking again for sure.

Great stay

Pro’s: Newer property, very clean, nice furniture. Golf cart was a really great amenity and also the outdoor shower. Con’s: Many stairs that are fairly steep. Also, it would have been nice if some standard items like dishwasher detergent, trash bags, laundry detergent would have been provided. Also, there is not a grill available. Only reason I deducted a star. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend.

Mackerel House

The house was very nice HOWEVER the sofa was AWFUL. It was so dirty it literally smelled. Fortunately our son lived in Carolina Beach so he could go home and get blankets and Frabreeze to cover it so we could use it. The TV remotes were not working properly at all. One guest could turn off their TV and another rooms TV would automatically go on. Minor as it may seem, the kitchen silverware was not good. We loved the neighborhood and the condo was sufficiently supplied. happened time and time again

Nice location and awesome golf cart

We rented #1 Mack. House was super clean. Location was near the beach and it was an easy walk to the beach. Golf cart was a huge plus. House was not fully stocked as someone's review stated. In fact, it had the minimal amount of things in it. It might have been that the duplex is for sale. It really didn't seem like it was set up to be a rental. We have rented a lot of beach houses in the past and have never seen a place so empty. It would be nice if there were some hangers in the closets, some beach towels, some wine glasses, some bakeware and serving dishes, and better quality pots and pans. We thought it was pricey for what you got. We like to cook a lot and it was very difficult with what we had to work with. If I had known what was there I would have brought some of my own stuff.
