If you're in search of a low-key getaway, Bodie's Anchor is the perfect place for you. Located in the Villas of Hatteras, adjacent to Hatteras Landing Marina and just north of the Ocracoke Ferry Terminal, this one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo located on the second (top) floor) is ideal for a couple's escape or a small family vacation. Bodie's Anchor features two double beds, free high-speed WiFi, two TVs, a view over the large community pool, and a convenient kitchenette with a full fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a stovetop with a GE convection oven. There are four community grills as well, including two gas grills at the pool. With the ocean and sound just a short walk from your door and shops and restaurants nearby, Bodie's Anchor is close to both adventure and attractions. It's a perfect hideaway for your next beach vacation!

End of the island

Located at the end of the island, Pool, shops, tiki bar, and food a short walk away. Access to both the ocean and sound very close. Quite, relaxing an overall good vacation spot.

Was a nice/average stay

The size of the condo was very nice. The proximity to the stores, fishing piers, the ferry is great. The wifi was decent, the pool looked decent didn't use it.

Bodies Beach Condo

Perfect location for beach and ferry to Okracoke! Love the pool. Nice room for light cooking and enough room to play board games. We had the perfect week!

Comfortable & Cozy Hatteras Hideaway

We had a good overall experience with this property. Felt like a condo...very roomy for a couple's getaway. Not a whole lot open to do for activities in area this time of year.

Perfect for the two of us

Great location and layout. The condo was perfect for my wife and I. Sunrise views in the AM from the front and sunset views in the PM from the balcony. Short walk to the beach and right in the middle of the shops at the Landing. would easily recommend.

The perfect week

Bodies Anchor was a true delight. The perfect place for my husband and I to enjoy a week getaway. The location was convenient to everything we needed and it was a short couple minute walk to the beach where we spent everyday. We will definitely return

Vacation

Well stocked kitchen, pool was clean and never overly busy. Great location, short distance to both soundside and oceanside. The condo was very clean. The other guests/residents were friendly. The desk staff was helpful. The beds were quite uncomfortable however.

Perfect family spring break

Our family enjoyed every minute of our week in Hatteras. The condo was wonderful and had everything we needed. We couldn’t get our devices connected to the WiFi but I secretly counted that as a blessing. The relaxation and family time was exactly what we all needed. We will definitely be returning.

Just Fishin

Just 4 guys using the place to sleep while we spent a few days fishing. Everything was pretty much as described and all worked as it should. Only problem was Hurricane Ian. Can’t blame that on anyone.

Highly Recommend

Very CLEAN! Well Organized, Good supply of kitchenware, GREAT LOCATION! Close to Hatteras Point, Hatteras/Ocracoke Ferry, Shopping, Restaurants, and Museum. Washer and Dryer Available with NO CHARGE. Good Price, Great Value! First Vacasa Property I had NO/ZERO complaints! Only negative: we had no living room TV service for 3.5 days but Maintenance came and checked it, when they saw it was not working properly they brough us another one. Highly Recommend.

2/10 Terrible

A big inconvenience

The property advertised in the picture is not even close to the color of the outside of the residence. The inside of the condo is very nice but the fridge and dishwasher leak like crazy and the beds are hard. There were 2 tvs and we could only get 1 of them to work. The only thing I liked was its in a good location.

Elvie, we appreciate your feedback and apologize for the issues encountered during your stay. We confirm the fridge and dishwasher have been repaired. The missing TV remote has been replaced, and both TVs are now working. The HOA recently painted the exterior of the complex. The owner has made some upgrades to the home as well, including new interior paint and a new sofa/bed. We hope you'll consider visiting us again for a much better experience in the future.

Some Issues!

Totally unusable shower head and bedroom TV broke. OBR never returned my call to address these issues. My husband spent OUR money and time to replace the shower head. Too bad because it is a great location.

Bodie's Anchor

This condo reeked upon arrival. Previous dish washer was full. No cleaning products. We were told our cleaning fee would be credited and we would be reimbursed for cleaning supplies. No remote for bedroom tv. Only picked up 3 stations. Living room tv was pocjet sized. Broken glass on the floor.

House issues

Toaster does not work. Coffee carafe chipped, very dangerous. Smell of mildew when you walk in, most prominent in bathroom, especially over sink. Needs bleach in drains! NO onsite assistance. Very inconvenient to have to drive to your office for fresh towels!
