Cottage in the Shade, 3 min walk to beach, restaurants, and pickleball crt.

Escape to this charming cottage in picturesque Bradenton Beach. Nestled within a tree grove, the cottage features 2 bedrooms. Five min walk to Bridge Steet and free trolley servicing the entire island.

Due to the county's construction close by, sometimes active and sometimes not, $50 discount per night is factored into the price.

Inside the cottage there is a nice living room with a futon, a galley kitchen, laundry room and a full bathroom. Enjoy pickle ball close by.

Whether you're looking for a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this comfy cottage is the perfect place to unwind. It is also located next door to our other 1 bedroom cottage (20112769) for those who wish to book both cottages together for group-family gatherings. To view, place that number where it says "Where to" and put in a date.

Prices are based upon double occupancy (2 people). One or two additional people will be $50/night extra utilizing the 2nd bedroom.

PLEASE NOTE : For extended stay guests, in house cleaning is required every two weeks with an additional fee.

very happy with the cottage. It was renovated and very clean. A close walk to Bridge St and the beach is right across the street. Host was accessible and very accomodating.

The place was absolutely wonderful. We actually met the owner, who was very pleasant to talk to. We were very pleased with the location and our stay. We will be returning next year!

Great house within walking distance to the beach as well as shops, bars and restaurants by the Bridge street pier. Very clean, with updated kitchen, bath and all new appliances.

Our stay was fantastic! The cottage was perfect for our needs! Everything was as advertised! Everything we needed was easy to find and use! The cottage was clean and seemed well maintained. Location was great! Easy beach access and never had to drive anywhere!

It is a nice place. The furnitures in the bathroom and the bedrooms a little old but overall is a nice little place.

There's a difference between "old" and antique or classic. The vanity in the bathroom is an antique which is in keeping with a 100 year old cottage, which arguably makes it too an antique. Old Florida is what makes AMI unique and so our cottages reflect that.

Everything was conveniently located close to the beach, pier and restaurants. Free bus that travels the whole beach. House was clean and answered questions promptly.

The cottage was absolutely adorable. Very spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for the pier, shops, restaurants and beach. The pickle ball court is a plus. So glad we discovered this gem. Hope to return in the future.

The location was great for me as I always walk or use the A.M.I. Trolley to get around. The cottage was well furnished, (as far as appliances and kitchen equipment). There were plenty of nice towels and linens. I would not recommend this location for a large group or family with small children, (no yard space for outside activities). The living room furniture and throw rugs are worn and dated. As a solo traveler I would stay there again as the size and location fit my needs very nicely. And communication with the owners was always positive and pleasant.

Love that the host, Randy, made a point of meeting us. He was kind and great to talk to. What a sweet place to stay! Lots of love has been put into this little house and the little details were not missed by us. It felt like a home away from home from simple decor to the little things provided such as a few hangers in the closet, coffee and other basics in the pantry, a hamper for laundry.. and an extra beach bag, which came in quite handy! The shade was so nice to have but I bet even more valuable in the warmer parts of the season. Our only wish was for a full-length mirror--that's it! Definitely would like to return and definitely encouraging family to stay in the same spot when they come down.

Terrific time in great location. Construction next door was disclosed ahead of time and wasn't too disruptive. Guests and pup were quite comfortable.

This is a great cottage to stay at on AMI. It was a very quick walk to the public beach and there is a park directly across the street from the cottage. It can be a bit noisey as the Cortez Bridge is right behind the house but we were not bothered at all. It did make driving over to Cortez and Bradenton a quick trip too. Shopping on Bridge Street, the BeachHouse restaurant and the Wicked Cantina restaurant are all a very short walk from the house. We would definitely stay here again. I had tried to contact someone about adjusting our dates slightly but didn’t get a response for several weeks. However, owner Randy kept in touch with us all week during our stay.

This is a great location if you plan to spend time in the Bridge Street area. Inside of home was clean and well stocked. Both of us found the hard foam beds to be very uncomfortable. A softer mattress topper may help here. Kitchen lights did not work which should really be fixed before renting out. Would be helpful to cleanup the side yard where you have to park.

The beach is close by but not enough for this customer. If you can actually find a house on the gulf, it is called a beach house, and they are way more expensive than our off beach house which is 3 to 4 min walk away.

The trees are the reason we bought the cottages. If the best thing about the sun is the shade, we have the best of both worlds right here. Enjoy lunch at the picnic table in the shade while the sun is baking every place else. If sun tone is your thing, just step out of the shade and over to the beach and have a dip in the biggest swimming pool around, the gulf. Or enjoy a game of pickleball right across the street.
