The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, with easy, free street parking, which makes daily life simple and stress-free. At the same time, it’s close to everything I love about Chicago — Chinatown is just a 20-minute walk, and the White Sox stadium is only 15 minutes away on foot.
All the major highways are just a few blocks away, and there’s a train station about a 10-minute walk from my place, so getting anywhere in the city is easy. Even Downtown Chicago is only a 15-minute drive, and McCormick Place is a pleasant 35-minute walk.
Bridgeport really feels like a peaceful place to come home to, yet it’s close enough to all the great spots where you can enjoy the best of what Chicago has to offer.
