This is a beautifully remodeled, modern, spacious, and luxuriously furnished 3 bedroom, 2 bath private city apartment. Unit includes fully equipped kitchen, dining room, heated/enclosed back porch, and large front balcony. We feature high-thread count cotton linens, beautiful furnishings, original artwork, 55 inch Samsung smart TV with streaming capability and basic Dish Network, wireless internet , in-unit wash and dryer, quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, and much more. We are only 2 blocks from Loyola University, The Loyola stop on the train (Elevated Subway) to take you downtown, and Hartigan Beach Park, and there is plenty of dining nearby to suit every taste. We are also a short drive from Evanston and Northwestern University. Property manager/owner on site to answer questions and ensure your stay is a pleasant one.
FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES: We provide a pack and play, high chair, children's cups and dinnerware, and outlet covers at no additional cost.
A 10% discount for stays of 7 nights or more is automatically applied to your reservation.
PARKING: Parking is almost always readily available on our block. It is however, "neighborhood zoned" meaning, guests will need a pass to park a vehicle on the street. We can provide parking passes at 1 per night of your stay at $3 each. If you have more than one vehicle or need additional passes beyond one per night of your stay, additional passes can be purchased at $5 each. The city charges us for them, and only allows us a limited number of passes per month.
This 2-flat building was built in 1916 and has been meticulously maintained and updated. There are beautiful gardens in the front and back. This bright apartment is located on the entire 2nd floor, with new windows on all sides. If you have mobility issues, it may be important to note that there is no elevator.
My husband and I live on the first floor and are available to help guests. We also provide window unit A/C in all the bedrooms and living room in the warmer months.
Prices are subject to change at any time. Tentative reservations may be held for 24 hours upon request.
PLEASE NOTE: All requests for exceptions or variations from rules MUST be submitted in writing and documented through the message thread and not via phone or in person. Unless an exception has been granted in writing, guest agrees that no exception has been granted.
Bookings with less than 7 days notice require approval and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Please fill out and return our rental agreement and a legible copy of your government ID upon completion of booking.

3. As our property has not been child-proofed, we encourage guests to take extra care if your party involves children.
4. We live in the unit below this rental property. Quiet hours are from 10:30pm - 7:00am. Our bedroom is right below the stairs, so please tread lightly after 10:30pm.
5. No parties. The City of Chicago does not allow events in Vacation Rentals. Our occupancy is capped at 10 at any given time. Guests who violate this rule will have their reservations cancelled immediately without refund.
6. No overnight guests
7. No smoking or vaping inside the unit
8. No pets
9. No candles or open flames
10. No glitter or glitter-like substances
11. You will be assessed a $300 fee for a lost key.
12. There is a $30 fee for early check-in (up to two hours early) pending availability.

We live in the 1st floor unit, and are personally committed to an outstanding guest experience. The neighborhood is great, near the "L" (elevated subway), the beach and Loyola University, with all the shopping, restaurants and businesses that go along with supporting the students, staff and residents.

If you like a clean, contemporary interior in a gracious, well cared-for vintage building, you are going to love this unit! It was fully remodeled and rehabbed in 2016 and the furniture and accessories have been carefully selected for your comfort. This unit has a nice, large balcony with lovely views of our tree-lined street, great for relaxing on our chaise-lounges in the warmer months. This is NOT a corporate-owned, cookie cutter property. As on-site owners, we personally selected everything in the unit for beauty, harmony, and the comfort of our guests.
