Friendly host that made sure we had everything we needed. The home on an inlet cove had a lovely view of the lake, that was perfect to watching the ducks, sunrises and sunsets. Too many games to list were provided for indoor and outdoor fun.

Our stay was the week of Christmas. Our Army son and his wife were in from Germany as well as our other son. We needed a place to hold us all as our new construction home was not finished. When I inquired about bringing our own Christmas decorations, the hosts quickly responded that they would have the house Christmas ready complete with a tree. This was so appreciated as it took some strain off of us. We enjoyed the home and all the amenities, and our pets were comfortable also! I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and will stay here again if the need arises.

This place is a perfect spot for a family get away. With lots of space, it works for families big and small. The hosts have set up the place with nearly everything you might need: camping equipment, fishing equipment, lots of games, a full kitchen, and gathering spaces inside and out. You can wake up to a view of the lake or enjoy a fire and watch the stars at night. There’s even a grill and outdoor seating. You can enjoy the lake and open space, but it’s only minutes into Corsicana if you forgot something or need to run to the store. We had a great Christmas week here and appreciated the holiday decorations as well. The host was responsive if we needed anything (we didn’t), and truly wanted us to have a great stay (which we did). We’ll definitely consider returning here in the future.
