This was the perfect house for my family to celebrate my mom’s 70th! The house had everything you would need to make the trip easy. The young kid/baby equipment they had was especially helpful! We loved the porch, open kitchen area and the two golf carts were crucial with a large group and kids for the week! We would definitely stay here again! The way the house is set up is wonderful for families downstairs and the main area upstairs.

We’ve coming to Bald Head Island for many years and we have stayed in lots of different houses in different locations, and this house was by far the best. Beautiful home that fit our very large family and is in a great location! The house is beautiful and very well stocked. Danielle and Jeff were also very responsive to all messages and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to stay there again next year!

A welcoming beautiful home that was prefect to create treasured family moments on the island. It is wonderful that it is stocked with everything needed in the kitchen, at the beach or on a rainy afternoon and for all ages from toddlers to adults. We are already looking forward to future visits!

A beautiful home. So many kitchen appliances and gourmet needs.The location to beach access was great……littles going to the beach may need some assistance, but that’s well worth it We loved our week at Fixn to Chill!,

This house is amazing! The owners thought of everything to make it welcoming and made it hard to leave! The owners were exceptional to work with as well! We will be back!!

We had a wonderful stay at Fixin’ to Chill! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a great extended family vacation. We loved having two golf carts so we could split up, which made getting around the island easy. The proximity to the beach was perfect, and the ice maker was a huge hit with the kids. We also rented bikes and really enjoyed how convenient the house was to everything else on the island. We highly recommend the crabbing and fishing lessons through the Conservancy for the kids! We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely AMAZING! This house was perfect for my family and friends. The owners thought of everything - umbrellas, turtlebox for music, chairs, etc. and were very responsive throughout our entire process. We will be back!

This house was fabulous for our group of 3 families of 4. It was just as described! Beautiful decor and extremely clean. Well stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again. Great air conditioning and ice maker. The host was very responsive. The house had a cute “branding” that was an added detail which made the stay feel more special.

We loved our stay at Fixin’ to Chill! The setup was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 5 kids, with plenty of room for everyone. The upstairs living space is big and open which was perfect for hanging out, cooking and dining together. We also spent a lot of time enjoying the upstairs porch.The location was great. Being so close to the beach, market and BHI Club made everything incredibly easy, especially with kids.This was our fourth trip to Bald Head, and Fixin’ to Chill was our favorite house we’ve stayed in so far! Jeff and Danielle were wonderful hosts—super responsive and incredibly helpful, with tons of great information about the island. We would absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Fixin' to Chill! The location is unbeatable- just steps from the beach and about 5 minutes to the shops! The house is very clean, well kept, and fully stocked with all the amenities you could possibly need or want, making it feel like a true home away from home. The garage apartment was a fantastic feature, offering extra privacy and space for our group! Jeff was incredibly responsive and friendly, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. We couldn't have asked for a better spot for a family getaway. Highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay on Bald Head Island.

Just steps from beach …Gorgeous clean property with plenty of gathering space for our larger group both inside and outside (deck space)! Kitchen has EVERYTHING we needed for preparing meals every night.. just steps from beach. Especially appreciated having 2 shibumi shades . Very friendly and available host
