Beautiful Lake Front Home On Como with boat and motor included

Because this property is located at the end of Lake Como and at the end of a private road it offers seclusion and intimacy while being only 3 miles from downtown Lake Geneva. The house has newly been renovated but still maintains its old cottage charm. Amenities include : , 3 Bedrooms, 1 1/2 Bathrooms, Fireplace, Washer, Dryer, Central Air, Incredible Stereo, 3 TVs, Wi-Fi, Prime Cable TV Programing, Gas and Charcoal grills. Lake Como is a great lake for large mouth bass as well as northern pike , a 16' 6'' alum fishing boat with 10 hp motor is provided at no charge . A canoe, 3 kayaks as well as floating devices for swimming are also provided. The pier goes in May 1st and comes out October 15.

For winter snowmobilers, the trails can be accessed from the yard via the lake. If we are short on snow this year the lake will home to ice boating and skaters.

Wonderful cottage property on the lakefront! Home had many extras and is in the perfect location for Lake Como being in walking distance of two great restaurants and a coffee shop. Andrew was quite helpful and the fishing was great too.

Andy, the owner, has the whole process down perfectly. He is super easy to communicate with. The house was exactly as pictured and described. Our family of 6 adults, 1 infant and the family doodle fit very comfortably and everything we needed was there. It’s a beautiful setting and I highly recommend it!

Stayed 4 nights with 5 adults for 2 of the nights and only 2 adults for all 4 nights. The property is listed as able to accommodate 8 people.The property was generally clean, well supplied and had 3 comfortable beds. This is an older property; not sure what is meant by newly renovated in VRBO description. Nice location with Lake Como views /sunsets and close drive to downtown Lake Geneva. The property has a septic tank and spring well which proved an issue during the last full day of our stay when the spring well light on the wall lit up indicating it was running low; we immediately started significantly conserving water following the owner's printed instructions; then at 4 am we were awakened by the septic tank alarm going off ; we called the owner and septic company.The owner became upset with us re: the well, assuming it was something that we had done; he accused us of having more people than we said or that we left water running and used it to an excess. In actuality we only used water to perform the basic functions of the day: flush the toilet, take showers , brush our teeth and do breakfast dishes. Did not use washer, ate out the majority of our meals and bought our own bottled water ; bottled water was in the home as well. The owner later apologized when he realized we were not to blame for the well.If the septic and well systems in this home are this sensitive, I would think that it should not be advertised to house 8 people at a time on the VRBO site.

Family get away

We had a great stay with our two toddlers and dog. Lake was warm to swim in and the home had everything we needed and was well labeled. Looking forward to coming back again some time soon.

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Coming back to this amazing cottage with one of the best lake views ever for the second time in the fall, it was somehow even better than the summer trip! No matter the season, this is the perfect weekend getaway for a family or group of friends!

Fishing trip

We have been coming to this property for the last five years. Always enjoyed our stay. The lake is not crowded so kayaking is great way to relax and take in the scenery. Beautiful sunsets in the evening.

Fishing delight

If your looking for a fishing outting then this is the spot. Plenty of bass and northern for everyone as well as pan fish for the little ones.

Lovely lake stay

We loved every thing about our vacation house: the views, quiet lake, dock access for fishing and swimming, the deck with table and grills, and of course the boats! The house had a lot of history and we slept 3 adults, 2 teenagers, and two kids very comfortably. If our family wasn't growing we would definitely love to return next year.

Return visit

We have been here multiple times, and have always enjoyed our stays. Love the history of the house still being in the same family. The lake is not crowded, great for kayaking. Beautiful sunsets at the end of the day.

I am 72, single and the third generation to own the house. My grand parents bought the property in 1923 which was just a summer home. In 1949 they built the present house moved here from Chicago and retired. As kids my brother and I spent many summers up here with our with our grandparents for which I have many fond memories.

This area is rich in history about Chicago gangsters from the 20's. Bugs Moran use to frequent the hotel close by . I have a vague memory of the hotel owner who remarried Morans wife and moved her in the house next door. My father claims he use to play with Bugsy's son.
