Hi Leigh, we are sorry to hear the neighborhood did not meet your expectations. When frequenting Galveston, you will see an array of different homes within each neighborhood; contributing to the uniqueness of our island. However, the Sea Isle neighborhood is considered a great location for homeowners and guests alike. Our listing does not state that we are "in walking distance" of the beach; it states that we are "across from the beach". As for the check-in time, we do have a 4 pm check-in but this is necessary so that our management team can ensure that the home is clean and in pristine condition for the next guest. We wish you had contacted us during your stay so that we could make it right but do not have any record of you reaching out to voice your concerns. Happy travels!

Thank you for your detailed and positive review of the beach house. We're pleased to hear that you and your family enjoyed your stay, and that the property met your expectations in terms of the amenities and accommodations. We appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback on the maintenance issue, as well as the condition of the beach gear. Your comments are valuable in helping us improve the guest experience. We look forward to welcoming you back to the beach house in the future.

I wanted to apologize for missing the mark on this occasion, Brandy, as we pride ourselves on being readily available to our guests. And it's always our goal to reflect well on our partners. So in order to improve the service process, we reviewed this reservation as a team, hoping to earn your business at a later date.
