Escape to absolute tranquility at our charming cabin, ideally situated for a peaceful getaway yet just minutes from everything you need. This is the perfect location to unplug and recharge, offering a private, secluded retreat in a gorgeous natural setting.
Nestled on a private, wooded lot, you'll be surrounded by the soothing sights and sounds of nature. Enjoy your morning choice of hot beverage on one of the covered decks, or relax in the evenings under a canopy of stars by the firebowl. You'll feel a million miles away from the hustle and bustle, but all local conveniences are a short drive away.
Get the best of both worlds! We're just an 8 minute walk to Lake Blue Ridge public access where there is a small boat ramp and a paved walking trail in the woods, along with other natural trails. We are a 10 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge with plenty of shops and restaurants and home to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.
Explore the surrounding area whether it is hiking to a waterfall, renting a boat or visiting a local Orchard or vineyard.
The cabin will sleep 6 comfortable with an additional twin trundle bed with a twin bed underneath in the game/puzzle area. Great for kids

Cabin was in an excellent location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We saw deer by the lake near the cabin. Parking was so easy with plenty turn around space.

What a great stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains! The WiFi was perfect for both my husband and I to work remotely for a week this summer. We spent the afternoons exploring all of the great wineries in the area and will definitely be back!

House was great, very clean and check-in was simple. Owners were easy to communicate with and the house is well located near Lake Blue Ridge. We are already making plans to visit again. Highly recommend this house and owner’s.

The directions to the cabin were clear. The location was great, the lake near by was picturesque. Close enough to town but felt remote. Very clean and well maintained! Great cabin!

This property is AMAZING!! The owners responded immediately with any questions we had. The decor was beautiful and fit the cabin perfectly. It was extremely clean and loved the privacy. The kitchen was perfect for making several meals. We loved the screened in porch area and also the outside downstairs with comfortable hanging chairs to enjoy the peacefulness. The short drive is easy into Blue Ridge. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Our stay at the Sweet Retreat was amazing! While it did rain while there we found many boards games, movies to watch and enjoyed the covered porches! The rooms were super clean and ready for us when we arrived! No issues finding this location and is super close to everything we did! Thank you for hosting!

We have stayed at several properties in the Blue Ridge area. Sweet Retreat is at the top of the list of places we would recommend. Its cozy feel, proximity to Blue Ridge & the Aska adventure area can't be beat. We had a few special requests that Marla went out of her way to accommodate us. You can't go wrong booking this lovely vacation home.

we had an absolutely incredible honeymoon week here! check in was easy, communication was always timely, and the cabin itself was a dream. the kitchen is well stocked so we were able to cook most of our meals, the washer/ dryer was so nice to have, and the cabin had several thoughtful necessities in case we forgot anything from home. the “grass” part of the yard was the only thing we were slightly thrown off by, as it’s quite small and completely graveled so we had to explore a bit to find grass for the dog to run and stretch. this didn’t effect the quality of our stay at all, but was worth noting as a caution if you’re bringing a pup. overall we had a flawless stay and can’t wait to come back!

We were honored that you choose the Sweet Retreat as your honeymoon destination, Kenneth, as well as enjoying the cabin. We understand that the property isn't well suited for a dog at this time. We have decided to not accept dogs at this moment

Wonderful location
Wonderful location, close to town and walk to lake, but home was very private. Home was clean and comfy!! We enjoyed our stay!!!

Wonderful Cabin
We had a great weekend visiting Blue Ridge. The cabin was perfect and very convenient to all the activities in the local area. We would highly recommend this property for those coming to visit the Blue Ridge area.

Girls weekend
