VILLA 1308 - Top Floor at Island Resort with Panoramic Lakeview & Private Grill

Top floor location with private grill and panoramic views of Lake Travis and the Texas Hill Country await you in this updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath villa at the Island on Lake Travis. This villa is very comfortable, can sleep 6 people, and has access to all the amenities at the Island Resort including 2 outdoor pools with hot tubs, one indoor pool with hot tub, an onsite restaurant, workout facility, tennis courts, and outdoor picnic area. This villa is spacious at 1215 sq ft and has a king bed in the master bedroom with private bath and a guest bedroom with a queen bed. The living area has a large wrap around sofa for great family time as well as a second sofa with a queen size pull-out bed. Additional amenities in this villa include a covered patio with private gas grill, lake, hill country, and Pace Bend Park views, HDTVs, WiFi, and washer/dryer. This villa has it all - a bird's eye location, comfort, beautiful lakefront setting, and is convenient to all the amenities at the Island Resort. Book now and enjoy!

Welcome to The Island On Lake Travis, an elegant condo complex that offers luxurious Lake Travis waterfront accommodations located on a 14-acre island. This gated resort offers condos for rent whether it be long or short term. A very unique aspect about our property is each condo is done to individual owners taste.

The Island on Lake Travis is the perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing romantic escape, and enjoy wildlife and breathtaking sunset views over the lake.

There are plenty of local attractions to explore to keep you busy if you are looking for something fun and exciting to do. Take a day trip to Marble Falls or Fredericksburg, check out one of the 18 hole golf courses nearby, or enjoy a wine tasting at a Flat Creek Winery!

When you rent from North Shore Vacation Rentals, you can expect top-notch customer service, and dedication to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Each of our condo's come with a fully equipped kitchen and linens for the bedrooms and baths. Covered Parking is on ground level with reserved parking, and additional “guest” spaces as well. There are 5 elevators on property.

We provide our guests with check in information prior to their arrival, which will include the front gate code, assigned parking spaces, directions to the condo and door code for added convenience. (Front Desk Check In is not required, and allows guests to arrive and access condo late at night if necessary).

Excellent stay

We absolutely loved our stay here. This place was stunning. Views all around the resort. Our place was clean and well taken care of. We loved feeding and seeing all the deer. This area is quiet and a perfect little get away.

Perfect get away

My 2 daughters and one grandson (1 year old) stayed for a couple of days I’ve never been to Lake Travis and was amazed at how beautiful and hilly it was Such a nice escape from the city! The condo was perfect, property gorgeous and the views were spectacular. We’ll be back for sure !

Lago Vista -Lake Travis stay

We had a good time at the Lago Vista resort and enjoyed our stay in the 2 bed 2 bath condo. The directions to get there were exact as we traveled by caravan with a married daughter. We each had a parking space for our cars in a garage. The apartment was a good size for the 4 of us and allowed for togetherness and privacy. The only equipment we brought was a blender for breakfast smoothies. We enjoyed sitting on our balcony in the morning and having our breakfasts and viewing the lake and the many deer in the area. Our bed was comfortable and place was quiet. The only complaint from us is that it needs an update. Everything seems well-worn and there were quite a few empty hooks on walls. But we'd probably stay again if asked.

Wonderful Condo!

This condo was just perfect for our family! The view was beautiful, the rooms were nice and roomy, and the couches are SO comfortable! Great location on the water. We brought our boat and also rented a boat slip so that was nice. The water is very low right now, but they still have a boat ramp that we were able to use. We had to ask one question about the AC unit and Melinda was very quick to answer and help! The only thing I would suggest if you stay in this room is to bring some black out curtains if your staying in the master. There are not any curtains on the windows and when the sun comes up, it's BRIGHT! All and all I would for sure book here again!

Amazing

My family flew in from Rhode Island and it was a perfect way to show them texas. Condo was clean and sanitized. The balcony had no pest, it was an amazing stay. I will definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Below Average

I would not rent this particular unit again. It was not very well stocked. The dishwasher bottom panel was broken and hanging into the kitchen area which caused you to trip. There was no information in the room to tell you about what the resort had to offer. The light above the master shower did not work. It did not appear to be a well maintained unit.

Poor

I'm sorry to say that our condo was the worst we've ever rented thru you. We did send you a copy of our notes about the condo before we left. As an example: both bathrooms had clocks that didn't work. The batteries were very corroded. They had to be that way for a long time. Our overall opinion is that the owner was only interested in taking rental money and not taking care of the property. Our decision to not come back next year was based on the poor experience in that condo. Dan and Mary Deltgen

Amazing resort

Unit 1308 was beautiful. Amazing views overlooking the water. Ck in was easy and my husband and I truly enjoyed spending our 25th wedding anniversary there. Would highly recommend

Condo with Grill

Advertised Private Grill on patio, however, grill didn't work! Management did not get back with me. Don't count on using “private grill”. Condo was spacious and clean.

Short Getaway!

Just wanted a short getaway before everyone returned to school and work. The location was beautiful. The property needs a little TLC. We are not sure the cleaning crew was here. Towels and beds seem clean but floors and such were not. We travel with wipes due to covid, so we wiped all down. There are cobwebs in all ceiling corners and in the bathrooms with live spiders. The bathrooms also have mold around the bases of showers. The dishwasher also did not work along with the no touch trash bin. The place should be immaculate for the price we paid!

Our condo was wonderful. The condo was nice, clean, and had a fantastic view of the lake.

If you are wanting a great condo on the lake about an hour outside of Austin in the hill country this is the place for you. We swam, fished, saw deer, visited Arkansas Bend Park, hiked Balcones Canyonland (nearby), and had s’mores at the fire pit!! We didn’t rent any boats because of the pandemic. We will be back!!

Nice, quiet property

Stayed here for 5 nights with husband and 2 kids (8 and 9). The entire property was beautiful and very peaceful. Check in was simple. Kitchen had enough to cook with and anything missing, the neighbors were sweet and willing to help out. Condo looked as pictured, loved all the sitting room in the living room as we spent evenings watching movies and we all had enough to spread out and relax. Master bedroom is extremely bright in the mornings with no curtains so if you plan on sleeping in past 6am, may want to bring a sleeping mask. Enjoyed swims in the morning and walks in the evening enjoying the very tame wildlife. The kids enjoyed feeding the deer with many eating right out of your hand. Although it is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, was still close enough to take day trips to Austin, San Marcus, and Pflugerville. Rented a boat one day 10 minuted away and enjoyed the waters. This is less of a vacation resort as many of the residents live here, so keep that in mind if you plan on bringing children. Ours did fine and everyone was great, just mentioning if your kids tend to be loud or stomp around. Was overall a great experience.

Comfortable stay with beautiful views

The condo was perfect for our stay as 2 couples with babies! It had a comfortable and relaxing space with beautiful views from the balcony! I would absolutely recommend this unit to anyone and will definitely try to rent this property again!

We very much enjoyed our

We very much enjoyed our stay! The condo and view from the condo were excellent. We loved having deer roaming around outside the grounds! It was a very peaceful atmosphere. It was unfortunate that the inside pool was closed because it needed repair. We discovered on our last day there that the lock on the condo wasn't working! Thankfully no one tried to break in!

Review of Unit 1308

There were several issues with Unit 1308. Although there were six of us, there was only cutlery for four people. We ended up borrowing forks and knives from my sister's unit. The mattress in the guest bedroom was so hard that no one was able to sleep on it. Our children took turns sleeping at their aunt's unit in her guest room, or on the sofa bed. The toilet seats in both bathrooms were loose and my husband had to tighten them several times to keep them from coming off. The light in the master bedroom closet was not functioning. It probably needed a new bulb. We were unable to turn off the light fixture attached to the ceiling fan. This meant that anyone sleeping in the living room could not use the ceiling fan without the light shining in their face. We replaced batteries in the automatic trash can in the kitchen, and all wall clocks. The icemaker would not shut off and overflowed with ice. The property was beautiful, and a little maintenance to the unit would go along way.
