Secluded, privately gated estate in prestigious Lake Austin / Westlake / Eanes School District neighborhood. Well appointed contemporary yet warm and welcoming open-air home features dual living areas, chef’s kitchen, Thermador Masterpiece Oven+Warming Drawer, Thermador French-door fridge and gas cooktop. Floor-to-ceiling windows and front deck provide unobstructed views to Lake Austin. Dine at elegant eight-seat Cantoni Italian designer table with white leather chairs. Six-place breakfast set overlooks pool & backyard. Four bedrooms each feature private full bathrooms. Enjoy oasis backyard with private pool, heated spa, propane grill and live oaks towering above chaise loungers. ~ten minutes from Austin Country Club, Zilker Park, SXSW, ACL Fest and downtown. Property is not waterfront, but Westlake Beach (right across the street) is waterfront.

We respect our neighbors. Parties and excessive noise are prohibited.

Less than one minute walk to Westlake Beach (not affiliated with our Property) - a waterfront business where Guests have the option to pay for access to Lake Austin. Nominal Westlake Beach Guest access fee is not included. Property is conveniently located 6.9 miles west of downtown Austin's famous Congress Avenue Bridge.

Plan to log into our smart TVs using your own streaming service credentials to access your subscriptions. Host does not include cable TV access or streaming services. Owner personally speaks live with each guest before any reservation becomes final.

Girls Trip

We had such an amazing time staying at this lovely home. It was so clean and spacious with an amazing front deck and a view of Lake Austin. The added bonus was the pool and hot tub which we really enjoyed using. It had plenty of bedrooms to fit our large group and the beds were exceptionally comfortable with nice bedding and pillows. The house is conveniently tucked in Westlake Hills which is beautiful and close to downtown. The host wa very responsive in answering any questions we had before we arrived.

Lake Austin Retreat

Everything about the stay and the interactions with Charlie and Margo from reservation to checking out were exceptional. The communications, clarity of instructions about operating the home,response to every text and the level of details were wonderful. The home is a beautiful, well maintained property with great design features and luxury appointments. The property is stocked with everything you can possibly need down to the pool towels. Highly recommend.

Very nice Austin Stay

The home is beautiful and is nestled in the affluent neighborhood of Westlake. The hosts were very communicative and responsive. The home is fully equipped with everything, nothing was missed. The bedding situation, sheets, pillows, etc, was hotel quality and exactly the way it should be for those that seek that out. The listing does reflect that the home is one minute from the lake, giving the impression that the lake is accessible within one minute, which is not the case. The lake is in view, but to access it, there is a ten minute drive to the nearest Acess point. Overall we rate the entire experience very high.

Wonderful property!

Our family rented this property for 4th of July weekend and it was perfect for us! We had everything we needed. The home was clean and well stocked. Charlie was very responsive our entire stay. He went above and beyond. We would highly recommend!

Just Dreamy !

Our extended family gathered in Austin for our niece's graduation from UT. We needed a central hub to gather and enjoy one another. We hit the jackpot when we found Charlie's beautiful home. It was comfortable and brilliantly designed and incorporated the lush surrounding nature into the architecture. There is wonderful shade provided by the many mature trees. The bedrooms are arranged in such a way that there is plenty of privacy when needed. The front deck was a lovely place to sit and chat and have morning coffee or an evening cocktail. The young ones enjoyed the pool and others relaxed in the spacious hot tub. The neighborhood is a gem in the hills overlooking the Austin skyline. Charlie was super communicative and available to answer any questions before and during our stay. We would highly recommend this special home and should we ever return to Austin, this is where you'll find us.

Great for large groups

We stayed here as a group of 7 adults and 2 kids. The house is spacious, clean, and well-maintained, and the hosts, Charlie and Margot, were both very communicative and accessible before and during the stay. The hot tub was great; we didn’t have a chance to use the pool. The outdoor deck area overlooking the lake was also a great place to catch up. The kitchen/pool/hot tub /master bedroom are upstairs: the other bedrooms are downstairs. All have their own bathrooms which was very convenient. Overall, we were pleased with our stay and would recommend Charlie’s property to anyone with a large group!

Exceeds All Your Expectations

Gorgeous home! The host was very easy to communicate with and was responsive to even the most minor questions. The house is meticulously furnished and had everything we needed to include plenty of space. It is in an Incredible location right in front of Lake Austin. Modern, spotless and the Hottub / pool are spectacular. Spacious with comfortable king and queen beds only. It was a perfect spot for a quiet family getaway!

Gorgeous property

This home is a stunner! The photos do not do it justice. Impeccably clean. Spacious with windows everywhere. Views every direction include giant heritage oaks and Lake Austin. Host is super responsive and friendly. Quiet neighborhood; perfect for any family getaway.

Unenjoyable Stay

There was multiple things to be included with the house that were not working including the wireless internet, hot tub and fans. The landlord was very unprofessional and would highly recommend not renting this property.

We had a great experience staying here

The property has great views and is the perfect distance from Austin for a quiet retreat while being close enough to experience Austin without breaking the bank in taxi fare. Amenities of the house were above some other rental properties I have been at. Owner was responsive whenever we had a question. Overall fantastic experience at the house.

Beautiful Property with Lake View, Relaxing Backyard Pool and Comfy Furnishings

My wife and I spent a relaxing couple of days here. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful, and was always available for any questions we had. The backyard includes a secluded pool and hot tub with a great outdoor sitting area. The front of the house has an upper floor porch off the dining room and formal living room that provides a great sitting area to enjoy the lake view. The master bedroom and bath was spacious and allowed for easy access to the backyard. While we did not have any use for them, the house does have ample bedrooms for larger groups, each with their own bath. Overall, this house was beautiful and a great get away location for us. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting Austin or on a staycation!

Paradise Getaway

Upon entering the building, your breath is taken away. From the design, to the decoration this place is a sight to behold. Very spacious, but still gives off a warm vibe to it. Absolutely amazing interior as well as the pool and jacuzzi grotto area which is serene and calming. As for the owner, Charlie is a stand up guy and very communicative in regards to offering help. The pool/jacuzzi has a lot of bells and whistles that come with operating it (done on an iPad) in which I received help from Charlie. The waterfall was an amazing touch for the pool and the jacuzzi was the perfect temperature. We had 14 people which is the max, but again it is a very spacious place and everyone was comfortable. I highly recommended going with this dream mansion when you visit Austin. Cheers!

Beautiful home, attentive owner

Just stayed at this pristine home for a girls' trip. The home fit 12 of us very comfortably. There is a bathroom in almost every room which is ideal with that many women! It has a beautiful outdoor space with a nice pool, plenty of trees, and views of the lake. The property has a newer owner so there were a few things missing such as enough plates- but the owner is so attentive he had the plates shipped to us same day (along with a blender!). Charlie went above and beyond my expectations of a home owner. He made sure we got the most out of our time in Austin- sending plenty of recommendations and answering questions immediately. Would love to return to this home and would recommend the property to anyone visiting the Austin area.

Amazing property- Loved our stay!

This property is amazing! It is nestled in the beautiful hills of Austin with a view of the lake and quick access to downtown. The home was clean, very spacious, well furnished, and the beds were very comfortable! Charlie (owner) was easy to contact regarding questions and even provided us with suggestions for Austin tour companies, restaurants, and other fun family activities. (Our favorite was his referral to Austin Wake Rentals for a day on the lake and Chris did NOT disappoint!!) We are hopeful another of my husband's business trips will take us to Austin and we will definitely book this house again!

Great property, great owner, highly recommend

This is an amazing property. Not only was the house beautiful and impressive, it is in a really perfect location directly across from the lake. Charlie consistently reached out to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. He recommended restaurants, sites to visit and a place to rent a boat with a captain. We had the time of our life wake boarding for the first time on Lake Austin. We rent many VRBO properties throughout the year and I would highly recommend this property and would gladly return. The modern open living space easily accommodated our large family and there would have been room for 2 families with the ability to spread out and not feel crowded. The location is premium. Will definitely be coming back!
