While it is magical to have the home directly on the ocean, there is a small tradeoff. The appliances bear the brunt of the corrosive salt air. As a result, we have the appliances professionally checked bi-monthly and replace them on a rotating basis to keep them fully operational and attractive. Occasionally, there may be a corrosive blemish, but we can assure you that they are all current, updated models. All of them are switched out with new ones every 3-5 years to keep them attractive. We will double-check to see if any are approaching that time. We were delighted you noticed the kitchen upgrades upon your arrival!
