The Space:

With its high vaulted ceilings, open living area, and a location practically on Pacific City Beach, this beautiful, dog-friendly home offers the perfect combination of style, comfort, and location! Gather everyone in the living room for an evening of board games, popcorn, and fun. The full kitchen is equipped with all the appliances, gadgets, and counter space you'll need to create family meals, plus a dishwasher to make cleanup a snap. You'll love eating at the large wooden dining table or outside on the wrap-around deck for a beachy al-fresco dining experience. When you're not playing in the cool Pacific waters, relax with a good movie or show on the large TV, or curl up on one of the comfy sofas and flip through your vacation read. Take advantage of the free WiFi to download some music to your device or research your next Pacific City adventure!



Keep your refrigerator and pantry stocked with all your vacation staples with trips to Chester's Markets Pacific City, just a mile east. Don't feel like cooking? Why not enjoy some dine-in or takeout from The Riverhouse Nestucca! Los Caporales and Beach Wok Asian Inspired Cuisine are both available for takeout and no-contact delivery. Not to mention, Pelican Brewery is just the place to grab a cold one after afternoons spent on warm sand. Take in the wildlife and natural formations you find with a trip out to Nestucca Bay National Wildlife Refuge, less than seven miles south.

The house was perfect! Well stocked with anything you need. The deck with all the chairs, just perfect for morning coffee watching the deer. Wonderful location easy walks to town, beach, stores!

Overall great property. Could have been cleaned a bit better - trash in bin from prior guests, cook ware put away dirty, areas un-vacuumed - wouldn't keep me from staying again, just could have been better. Awesome location

Good place for a beach weekend retreat that is pretty close to the beach and affordable solid response time and good location the house has a very strange layout so if you plan on watching movies or shows during your stay definitely bring your tv with you and the back yard is all tall grass with local deers so letting your dogs run around is not ideal around the property but luckily it is very close to the beach had a fun weekend with my family

Nice location. PLEASE spend a little money & put a new rug in living room. Very worn, curled dangerous edges to trip over and pet stained. This is the first thing you see (and smell) when you enter the home.

We stayed for 3 nights. There were 4 adults, all seniors, and our little dog. Overall, we really liked the house. The neighborhood seemed very pleasant and safe. The beach was AMAZING and an easy, quick walk from the house. We were grateful for the outdoor grill. It saved us a bunch of not eating out. I do have a couple of suggestions for our host but, we would gladly stay there again.

The property is in a quiet gated neighborhood. Two blocks to the beach. It’s pet friendly. The kitchen is fine to prepare a basic dinner. Easy drive to local restaurants. We called about the front porch light being burnt and water around the downstairs toilet and were told a ticket was being created but we never heard back. For a beach vacation it’s a good place.

Casago, the host entity, was very responsive to any issues I had. The location is close to the beach and within good distances to places we wanted to visit. The property was adequate for my family's needs but it certainly is not what I expected. The photos online do not show the property as it actually is. The furniture in the living room is broken down and not what is shown in the photos. One bedroom has a bunk bed where a full (or queen) size bed is shown in the photos. The carpet in the living room is filthy, old and a trip hazard. There are two cabinets in the kitchen secured by tape which is hazardous should the tape not be secured, allowing the cabinets to open. It was not as clean as it could have been. Family decided to rate it 5 out of 10.

The house was as described and worked well for us. The beach was a short walk away. The beach by the Pelican Pub was further away and we chose to drive, as opposed to walking on a very busy road.Note to management: the house could use some upkeep. Inside: downstairs toilet was leaking. Outside: gutters must be quite full as grass was growing in them.All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would rent again.

Stay away from this property or anything thing to do with Casago. We are in our 80’s & took my husband’s sister who is 88 for a 3 night stay. Had difficulty entering the house via code & then had problems opening up lock boxes . Can’t lock the door from inside. Have to fiddle around with the door by lifting up the door & using the key. We have a code on our home door & can lock it on outside as you leave, some lady finally came out to jiggle the door & dead bolt & tape the cabinet doors to shut . It did no good & doors never shut using a hazard. Seating is horrible..,futons so low to the ground, like for a teenager. Very small tv. Bigger tv upstairs in loft but no seating!!Dog urine stains greet you on the living room rug & through the house. Plants growing in eaves…filthy bedroom window & sills, only 2 large full butcher knives. No everyday paring knife that one uses daily. No salt & pepper to start you off. Refrigerator old & beaten up looking . Over-table lighting had burned out as well as porch light. Very difficult to communicate with host. Go through. Middle man “rooftop reality) who have no power …had to even call them to find out password for their internet. No pamphlets or instructions about that. Stay away from this rental, They’ll gladly take your money up front & do nothing for you.
