Great house with lots of natural light, especially upstairs. Very accommodating very families with young children. Great property and in walking distance to the beach. Highly reccomended

Great little spot, close to the beach

Very cozy and quiet area. Liked that it was so walkable. Great for a quiet weekend away.

Clean, cozy and convenient

Great little vacation stay. Fenced yard was great for dogs, inside of the home was clean and comfortable!

Great Place!

Wonderful place to stay — tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but walking distance to beach and restaurants. Kiwanda Coastal Properties were easy to work with and accessible if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

We didn’t want to leave!

This was a very clean and comfortable home. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials. There were plenty of towels and extra bedding. The hot tub was divine. There was a trail system right behind the house that was fun to explore. We can’t wait to go back!!

Refreshing getaway

This home was amazing! Very clean & has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We love that it is pet friendly as well. It is in the perfect location! A super easy and fun walk to the beach and nearby activities. The neighborhood is clean & quiet. We loved the walking path behind the home. The hot tub was a nice way to end the evening. I would definitely book this home again.

Great house in quiet/close in neighborhood

We stayed at Sea Jay 181 for a weekend and it was great! It’s really hard to find a rental in Pacific City that has a king bed, hot tub, AND a fenced yard. It was the perfect stay for us and our dog, and the bedrooms were quite spacious. Having a bathroom attached to the master, as well as a full bathroom upstairs and half bath down is a huge plus as well if you’re traveling with several people (or just both need the space). We also enjoyed the access to the nature trail behind the house and close proximity to Pelican, Dory’s Pizza, and other local places. We felt connected, but also had quiet and privacy that can be harder to find that close to the beach. Overall the kitchen is well stocked, though you may need plastic wrap, foil, etc. depending on the length of stay if cooking there. There were a few spices, oil, and even some coffee, with plenty of filters. A bonus for us was having both a regular coffee pot and a keurig. There were plenty of games, books, movies/TV shows on DVD, as well as a Roku for the downstairs TV. We really didn’t need anything special and the only bummer for us is the king bed is firmer than we prefer, so we didn’t sleep as well as we’d hoped. We’d still absolutely stay again! And we had great responses from the property folks, with excellent suggestions for the area and hiking trail. We’re fairly seasoned travelers to Pacific City and we really enjoyed the home, neighborhood, and management compared to other places!

Great place with a great location. Nice walk to the beach and a few good restaurants. Love the area and how it is less crowded than Cannon Beach or other coast towns.

181 Sea Jay

Great, comfortable house with fenced patio! The fenced patio made my stay feel more comfortable knowing that my dog could be outside and not have to go outside with her each time. The house is very roomy and had everything that we needed. The location IS PERFECT. Literally like a 2 minute walk to the beach, shopping, etc. The forest out back was great for my pup to play. I will definitely book here again. The only thing I would suggest is having a shovel to pick up dog remains. I used a bag, so not a big deal, just a suggestion.

Ok place

This was an OK place. Thought it was expensive for its size and location. To many fees. Could’ve been a cleaner, cobwebs hanging from celling, stains on carpet, slow drains in tubs several toys under furniture. Only 2 wash clothes in the entire house that sleeps 6. Office only had 2 more to give us. Pretty well stocked but a bigger cutting board and sharp knives would have been helpful. Beds were to firm for us. Wifi was hard to hook up to and only worked well in the down stairs area. Bikes had flat tires and broken seats. But a pump was provide. The fenced in backyard was nice for dog and back gate for access to some great trails for walking dogs and exploring. Hottub was nice but sand in the bottom which we didn’t mind. Probably wouldn’t stay again for that price.

Thank you for your review and for letting us know about some issues. The carpet has been replaced! Lots of other upgrades and a deep clean has been done too. This is a lovely, well stocked home.

Repeat visit to a favorite beach house

Just spent another lovely April weekend at the Sea Jay...very well stocked, impeccably clean, perfect distance for walking to the beach, and plenty of space for our group of four to find a cozy corner. Bikes were a treat...just need a new pump...and foot shower handy way to keep the sand outdoors. So nice to getaway from it all at the Sea Jay!
