I can’t say enough about this place and the host! Best Spring Break Ever and this VRBO was the centerpiece of it all! So much so we know a fact we’ll book again, thanks for the memories!

We had an amazing stay at this house! The hosts were so accommodating and helped with all questions/requests promptly. We had a family of 15 stay at this home and it was perfect for our needs. We especially loved the hot tub and sauna out back. Hope to be back soon!

The host was FANTASTIC! She quickly answered any questions we had with our stay. The cabin far exeded our expectations. It was clean, spacious, had awesome amenities, and everything that was mentioned in the lusting was there. Ski out was easy ski in was a little bit of a challenge but that may have been just us.

This Boyne Mountain home is special. The open floor plan made it easy for all of us to gather for morning coffee or evening chats without feeling cramped.  This is a big house with 6 bedrooms, but it felt warm and cozy.  The balance of private space to spread out and shared spaces to come together is great for large families — grandparents reading bedtime stories, parents cooking meals, kids playing a game — and every one of us enjoyed our time. My parents loved having a place where they could rest, recharge, and still feel part of the big family adventure with kids and grandkids.  We can’t wait to come back, thanks Anna!

Hi, The home is beautifully furnished, lovely appliances, lovely bed linens and towels. lots of wonderfully decorated bedrooms and many bathrooms. Full laundry. The home is in a perfect location, within walking distance to Boyne, hiking, the lake, golfing or skiing. You could not ask for a better location. And jacuzzi and sauna and extra plus! Things to consider - the home is not soundproof. If you have a large group - if you are chatting or watching TV in main room, and others are sleeping upstairs, the noise travels. If you are sleeping below, you can hear everyone walking and talking. In the downstairs bedroom there was a window shade/curtain missing. We had to request toilet paper, coffee pods and paper towels. They were delivered right away but I think it's great, at least for first two nights to have these supplies so guests don't have to go shopping immediately. The batteries in the remote were dead so we had to drive down and get those. Light bulb missing in first floor bedroom, so we drove down to get those, and more garbage bags. Front swing on porch has no cushion. So beautiful place to swing if there's a cushion. Also, not back patio furniture.

Thanks for your feedback, Liz. This is the first review less than 5 stars we've ever received in 4 years of hosting, so it stings a bit! Especially since we do everything we can for our guests. You saw that when we immediately sent groceries to the house, after you alerted us to the missing salt and coffee. I was surprised that you also asked for enough paper products to last the entire week (you had a big group!) but we sent those supplies over, as well as Smore's kits for your family to enjoy as a gesture of goodwill. We were unaware of the light bulb and batteries needed, but we would have sent those over immediately had we known. Unfortunately, it seemed that we could not redeem ourselves, and midway through your stay you sent a long list of things you wanted to change in the house. I thanked you for the feedback and have implemented a couple of your suggestions since then. Hospitality is not always perfect, but to us, what makes our home hospitable is our sincere desire to go above and beyond to make our guests comfortable. I hope you made some great memories with your family and we wish you the best!

Not many rentals are able to accommodate our family of 19. This home was large enough for all of us and well furnished. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. The owner responded quickly to any concerns we had. We had a fun filled week and thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home.

Would have been all 5’s except for problems with the air conditioning system. The 3 house zones didn’t appear to be set properly. Bottom floor and usually the middle floor were freezing while the top floor remained hot. The host was very responsive, the house was very clean, and it was a perfect size for our family of 10!
