Our property has a relaxed, upscale feel and is located in an extremely safe area. Great for vacationers seeking peace and tranquility as well as families wanting an active get-a-way. You will be just steps away from the white sand beach and right next door to the Zota Hotel, which offers casual beach dinners and drinks.

needs updates

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good location, unit needs updates. Soon as we got there and sat on bed, a table lamp fell off the wall. we reported it next day, they said maintenance would fix it, they never came. items for beach were all in bad shape, umbrella had no matching pieces, so we had to buy some, cooler was broken. starter items provided are extremely cheap for what you pay, cheapest toilet paper, coffee, etc. Also, would be nice to at least provide a couple bottles of water and welcome snack, got there late, nothing open, absolutely nothing to eat or drink in unit. We were here for wedding, I would stay somewhere else for price.

Perfect location and well stocked kitchen. Needs new twin beds.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a girls wknd for 4 adult women. The property is beachfront, steps to the water. Well stocked with towels, kitchen appliances and supplies. There was even a pop-up tent we could use. The master had a wonderfully comfortable bed. The guest room has two twin beds that had no mattress cover and felt like you are laying on box springs. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever been on. There were two of us sharing the room, so we opted to try the pull-out couch a different night. Same torture. It would really be a deal breaker to go back and stay there again if there is not a change. That was our only complaint. Absolutely loved the location!

Always great stay

The kitchen amenities along with bedding need to upgraded and standardized. The sheets are paper thin and I’m unsure if the comforters are regularly washed.

Weather was a blessing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: While we stayed at the resort we had terrible weather. Cold and rainy witch turned out to be a blessing because the tenant next to use came out screaming at my wife and family while we were on the shared porch. So with bad weather we were able to go do other stuff around the island and surrounding area. All of the other people staying at the resort and the staff that I met were wonderful. Unfortunately the bad experience with the way the condos are set up with shared porches on certain units means we will not be back.

But, the place itself is tired and needs updating. Chipped paint, mix matched plates, cups, silverware... Bottom line for the price it should be in better shape.

Great view, room a little tired

The dishwasher was broken and it couldn't be fixed during our stay. The windows were filthy and it took away from the beautiful view. However, the general cleanliness of the units was very, very good. The bathrooms were very clean as well as the kitchen. But they really need to invest in some new mattresses!

Unit 118 Sand Cay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: During our stay encountered many issues with our unit. The unit was very outdated which led to our issues. Extra bed (sofa bed) broken which led to using an air mattress for a week, outlets smoking, toilets not flushing properly. All linens were old as well as bedroom furniture. All in all this unit needs to be taken off the rental program until a complete overhaul of the condo is complete. Not worth the money when you can stay next door at a resort for same price.

Longboat getaway

Very comfortable place. Had an issue that the Sand Kay staff took care of very quickly. They were very responsive. We enjoyed our stay very much.

They were old, lumpy, creaky and very uncomfortable. Pillows were thin and old. There were no hooks for web bathing suits or extra towels. No drying rack either.

We love Sand Cay!

This unit was wonderful! Our family had an amazing 10 nights of sunsets and beautiful beach days right outside our door. The unit is well equipped with everything you need for the beach and pool. We will be back!

Shirley's 88th Birthday Celebration

We enjoyed staying at the unit - it was very close to the beach. Nice Kitchen. Did not like the location of the Pool, however, that can't be corrected. Celebration of family member's 85th birthday, so most of the other units were also occupied by other family membrs.
