we had a great time! The lake was absolutely beautiful and such a plus. The amenities that are included was awesome. The owners Richard and Carol were super sweet as well and wonderful.

Thank you for opening your home to my family and allowing us to make memories at the lake. We had such a blast with the boats, fishing, swimming, cooking on the grill, and hanging out on the patio. I am also so very appreciative of you allowing our puppy companions to tag along with us. The home is comfortable, with everything you need for a great vacation. The split design of the house gave our teenagers plenty of room to breathe and have a great time. We have now been to the lakehouse twice and can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved staying here! My husband and I, along with our two dogs, stayed for three nights over the July 4th holiday. We spend most of our time using the kayaks, going for rides on the large paddle boat and simply floating on the lake in innertubes. Our dogs loved cruising around the lake on the paddle boat with us. The lake is so calm, we were even able to teach our young dog how to swim. The house had everything we needed, we didn't even leave the property the whole time. It was hot out, but all the shade from the trees made the yard a lot cooler, so it was perfect to barbecue and hang out all day outside. The lake was quiet and peaceful. The hosts, Richard and Carol, were wonderful to communicate with. Any time that I sent them a message, they responded quickly. Best of all, they were very friendly and really just wanted us to have the best vacation possible, which we did. We didn't want to leave and hope to come back as soon as we can.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Richard and Carol have thought of every little detail to make our visit special, from the variety utensils in the kitchen to the welcoming bedrooms and the range of outdoor settings, our Thanksgiving stay was amazing. We paddled out to see the sunset from the middle of the lake at Richard's suggestion and it was just as described. We will definitely go back sometime.

Everything was as described. We had all we needed to enjoy a weekend of peace and tranquility. Enough room for 6 people and our dogs. We all enjoyed the weekend relaxing outside by the water or on the water. Would definitely be happy to come back, I’ve already had several friends ask for the info to this property since being back. Highly recommend!

A great family trip

We took our kids here for a week long summer vacation. This stay was amazing. Our kids loved the paddle boards and my husband and I had a great time fishing. We would come back! Bonus: The hosts are incredible. I’ve never had such quick response time from hosts and we stay at quite a few rental homes every year!

Very Relaxing

Loved the place. Had a great outdoor set up we used as often as we could when it wasn’t raining. Spent one whole day out on the dock taking in the peacefulness. Would definitely book again.

Relaxing, Boating, Fishing…it has it all!

This location is perfect for a getaway. The property is amazing & has many amenities to entertain everyone regardless of what you like doing. The big pedal boat is an absolute must when going out on the lake. I highly recommend anyone trying to get away from the rush of the day to day to come here & experience the views, peace, & beauty.

Great place to relax!

My Grandnephew and I spent the day fishing on the Trinity River and the afternoons and evens relaxing at the dock with fishing lines in the water. The listing is a good description of what you will experience.

Cozy lakehouse getaway

Very nice property! We enjoyed our time on the lake fishing, swimming, and taking advantage of all the boats available to rent. We will definitely be back.

Birthday getaway

The property was great. They have available if boats for the lake which made the trip fun and active. We all had a great time enjoying the outdoors and campfires. We would recommend this place to our friends.

Woodsie, Comfy and private.

Totally enjoyed the stay, grand kids and children felt at ease to fish, bbq, run around and play. Everything you needed was there. Lighting was awesome !

Perfect family getaway

Quiet neighborhood and backyard lake access made this a great getaway for the whole family. A lot of small touches that gave us plenty to do during a rainy day, and access to kayaks and a paddleboat for the rest of the time. It's a great lake with beautiful scenery, a great house with lots to do, and a definite "let's go again" from everyone.

Great hidden getaway

My wife and absolutely loved this location. This was one of the best places we’ve vacationed at and I would go back in a second. The house is wonderful and right up against the lake. It’s well covered by trees and has everything you need to enjoy a quick getaway. The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. This is a great place and I look forward to going back.

Charming Lake house for wonderful lake experience!

Beautiful home and lake view, amazing layout and everything needed for a wonderful lake experience. Rich and Carol are fabulous hosts and we highly recommend this property. We hope to come back in the summer. 😊❤️

A absolutely amazing little retreat

This lake house had everything we needed. It was my husband and I, our 4 kids plus 2 friends for the kids. This lake house had it all. It didn't matter if it was raining outside the house had everything we could have ever wanted. The lake was so peaceful I was able to not worry about the older kids taking kayaks out. It's a dream vacation if you want to just get away from the city. I loved every second, I can't wait to come back.

Amazing

The VrBo was so relaxing! We all enjoyed it including our dog. There were activities for everyone to do of all ages! The only thing was that there was bugs in the restrooms but again may come with the area and wasn’t horrible overall would recommend and will definitely be back!

Great cabin and location

My friend and I needed a base camp for a fishing trip on the Trinity River and a nice place to cook a nice dinner and relax at the end of the day. We were within 10 to 30 minutes of all the boat launches where we meet our guides, and came back to a well equipped kitchen and charcoal grill to prepare a nice fresh fish dinner. We’d sit on the dock dunking worms to end each evening. We will be back!

Relaxing

It was lots of stairs twist and turns . We didn’t understand the water drippings in our bed when the upstairs was being used but overall great stay. Loved the scenery from the peddle boat.
