Walk to Hidden Valley’s Main Lodge - BRAND NEW KITCHEN with heated floor!!

About our adventure retreat:
Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath townhome is perfect for the family that likes to play together! 'Base Camp' has everything you could want for a family getaway.

Board games, movies, comfy furnishings and cozy blankets await at our retreat on the mountain. King, queen, full, and bunk beds will fit your whole gang. This townhome sleeps up to 10 with beds for everyone.

Base Camp's location is one of the very best on the mountain. Not only are you steps from the main lodge, you can walk down to the lake, activity center, spa and conference center, and easily walk home after a fun apres ski at the lodge bar!

Many guests prefer a location close to the lodge to ski in/ski out. It's tough to carry all of your gear and lunch on skis down to the lodge! Even if you think you will go back to your rental for lunch, invariably everyone always meets at the lodge. No need to drive there, just pop on your boots and you're halfway there!

If you don't feel like taking the short walk to the lodge, you can always hop on the shuttle that stops right outside of Base Camp. It is very convenient!

BEDROOMS:
Bedroom 1 - Master bedroom has a king size Memory Foam bed, large closet, flat screen television, and air conditioning unit.

Bedroom 2 - This room has a queen sized bed and large closet, with views of the lake and slopes. This room has a flat screen tv.

Bedroom 3 - This room has a set of bunk beds (top twin, bottom full), flat screen tv, and closet.

Basement Family Room - This is a huge space that has a fold-out queen sized couch and loveseat as well as 2 twin daybeds. This family room has a large flat screen tv, full bathroom and laundry room with washer and dryer.

The Kitchen - This is a BRAND NEW Chef's Kitchen! Floor is heated slate - leave your slippers at home! Every single appliance you could want from a panini maker to crock pot to oversized blender. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to feed your hungry family. It overlooks the living area and has a 4 seater bar. The dining table seats up to 12 with 2 leaves. It's easy for everyone to eat together or play a round of cards over hot cocoa.

The Living Room - Complete with a cozy fireplace, big couch and loveseat. Watch a movie from our fun library of movies on the 42 inch flat screen TV. DVD player and cable TV are ready for a relaxing family night.

Deck - The deck is right off the dining area with a grill that is ready to use. Don't miss the torchlight parade on select nights!

Linens are included, pool towels are available when visiting the outdoor pool in season.

Hidden Valley

Everything was perfect! Location was great, walking distance to bottom of trails. Kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved the open floor plan / bar area between kitchen and family room. Fireplace was nice. Also, parking was very convenient.

Nice place

Very close to the lodge. Easy to come and go. Especially with kids. The house was very nice. It was nice to have parking right in front of the house. We use the fireplace every night. It was magnificent. Thanks again.

The Condo was one of the closest to the slops! It was nice having a fire on the wood burning stove and enjoying time with friends and family!

Great Ski Weekend Getaway

This property was absolutely perfect for a weekend getaway. Being within a 5 min walk of the Hidden Valley Resort was extremely convenient and made the weekend that much more enjoyable without having to worry about coordinating drop offs / pick ups. The property has a basement family room that our teenagers loved hanging out and sleeping in, which allowed the adults to sit and relax in the living room with peace and quiet - and some wine in front of the fireplace! All of the beds and furniture were super comfy and not having to worry about bringing our own linens and towels (like other properties we stayed at last year…) was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!

2 families…. Plenty of room….. walking to slopes was a cinch! Kitchen well equipped….. fireplace was ready to go! Owner was quick to respond…..Definitely recommend this rental!

Great location

This property is an easy walk to the slopes. It was clean and had plenty of space for our group. The fireplace was awesome for after a day of skiing.

Cozy Spot With a Really Nice Location

This place is close to the slopes and it was perfect for 2 families. The owner was very responsive. The place was clean. The fireplace was prepared with dry firewood and there was more than enough dry firewood on the property. 2 parking spaces right in front of the unit with additional parking right across the street. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect location.

This was the perfect location for our group of moms and teens. The location was so close to the lodge we could walk back for lunch and rest. Then head back over to hit the slopes again. The place was clean and well kept. Having the code to get insides was so convenient. No key to carry while we skied! The place looked exactly like the pictures and had plenty of room for everyone to sleep. And a table large enough for us to be able to eat together!

Excellent location from the lodge!

Owner was very nice and responsive at all times during our stay. The rooms were big and and the house slept 12 easily with extra pull-out mattresses. The basement smelled very moldy and old. The bathroom in the basement is very old and needs a new toilet. The upstairs are is much cleaner and more updated. Wish the kitchen area had hard wood floors or something that wasn't carpeted, to make it feel a bit cleaner. Please put more lighting in there!!! We had a very hard time seeing each other with the ancient lamps provided to us. I get that it's supposed to have a log cabin feel to it, but some of us like having brighter lights in the home when there's kids and a big group there. The best thing was it is literally a 5-minute walk to the lodge though! Nice deck area for grilling as well.

Ski trip with son

The place had everything that you needed and a great location. The only problem I encountered was the ability for someone who didn't ski and has trouble walking to negotiate steps as bathrooms and bedrooms were only on the second florr and in the basement. I had made the assumption that there was a bed and bath on the first floor. Other than not being handicapped accesible it was great. Communication with the owner was excellent and she was very helpful and allowed us a late checkout. It was my mistake for not asking about the location of the beds and baths.

Great place close to the lodge

Great size for our group, nice to have three floors. Fireplace worked well, really warmed up the room. Owner/manager was very responsive. We had some rain during the weekend, but had a great time regardless.

Perfect for what I needed

I felt at home and comfortable. Loved the area, especially the deck overlooking the lake. Some small minor issues - no propane, musty smell downstairs. It is a beautiful, quite area and I was pleased that I decided to choose Basecamp.

Very helpful, accomodating owner!

The owner went out of her way to rent to us at literally the last minute when we ran into some electrical issues at another rental. The unit overlooks a lake and is set in a pretty, wooded setting. The master bedroom was roomy with a very comfortable bed. We had a great time watching movies and playing games in the living/dining area and felt very much at home. The only issue was that the lowest of the three levels smelled a bit musty, but there was so much room that we did not really have occasion to go down there much. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Let it SNOW

Base camp is as advertised. A cozy cabin like Feel. Close enough to the slopes to walk. We had a wonderful weekend of skiing. Maybe the best of the year because of all the fresh powder; over two feet!!!! Couldn't find a shovel, but a neighbor was nice enough to share.
