This property has a lot of great features. First, parking is awesome. Most rentals in Big Bear want to limit you to 2 vehicles. This place has a HUGE driveway that easily held five large trucks. Second thing that is great about this property is the location. You are right on the water with great views of the lake from the decks. Also, you are very close to the Village. Third thing we liked was that there was plenty of space. You get two houses with this rental making it great for a large group. Lastly, our Host was very responsive. We had an issue with our key code and they responded within 5 minutes to resolve the issue. Overall, great place and exactly what I would expect at this price point.

The cabin has a lot of potential and could be a really great place to stay. The location and overall setting were very appealing, and we could easily see ourselves enjoying the cabin much more if it were better maintained.Unfortunately, the general state of disrepair took away from the experience. Several areas appeared worn, neglected, or in need of repair, which made the cabin feel less comfortable and inviting than it could have been. With some attention to maintenance, repairs, and general upkeep, this could be a wonderful rental.We appreciate the opportunity to stay here and hope the owners will invest in bringing the cabin back to the condition it deserves, because the underlying property has plenty of charm and potential.

Cleanliness is NOT what this home is about. Pieces of the home were falling apart, missing appliances that were said to be there. Do not rent this place.

Host was very responsive and the price was reasonable but there were several items in and around the house damaged. Some appliances didnt work well and the wifi was not very reliable.

Until we got to the property all communication was great, we pulled up and walked in. The coffee table fell down almost crushing our kids feet (dolly sort of table on one wheel/broken clearly) we immediately messaged them about some safety concerns and received NO response during our stay. It was not clean, windows all had loads of webs with dead bugs in them, half of the windows did not open. main sliding door no screen and the other one was broken/slit. we had to re-clean most of the property so that we felt comfortable enough to stay. Hammock broken and just left on the bottom balcony. The whole reason we rented was for the kids to be able to play on the dock, there is no clear path and the property has old broken furniture that if the kids had gotten near they could have really hurt themselves. The worse part was the lack of response after they recieved our they went dark. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LISTING TO ANYONE. unless they lower the amount, it is not worth anyone's time. Not safe for children, we couldnt even feel comfortable with them on the top deck, wood planks broken! Also they say they have a guest house. there is one in front of the property which is a bit more updated and was cleaner but it had no view of the lake and was not the main house/bedrooms too small so we couldn't even use that whole area. We also could not access garage/trash bins, this place was a mess! Also both bedrooms with fans were so dusty and one of them didnt even work/bugs everywhere!

Host was very communicative and answered all of our questions leading up to the stay! The house could use some maintenance overall (see other reviews) but nothing we encountered impacted how much fun we had! The property is in a very nice location, the views from the decks are beautiful and the town is super close by. I would recommend bringing extra fans as it does get quite hot!

Beautiful home. The location couldn't be better, close to downtown. Spent 4 days with our family and everyone had a great time.
