It's Almost Heaven atop Elk Springs Resort looking at unrestricted views of Mt. LeConte and the Great Smoky Mountains. You can enjoy views of the mountains from all 3 levels in this cabin. Enjoy a movie in your own private theater room with leather reclining theater seats and a 9 foot theater screen. 4 Bedrooms, 3.5 Baths, 6 DVD Players, 2 Large Flat Screen TV's, Gas Grill and Sauna! Perfect for adults and kids. With a lower level game room area and upper level loft, there is plenty of room to spread out for peace and quiet (especially when bringing the kids).

Enter on the main level and admire the view of Mt. LeConte through the 25 foot wall of glass in the great room. You'll appreciate the exposed beams and woodwork in this new cabin, especially in the great room with comfortable seating for 6. The adjoining dining area with breakfast bar and full kitchen with cherry cabinetry includes upgraded stainless steel appliances and dishwasher as well as most of the cooking utensils, pots and pans you'll need. (coffee maker, mixer, blender, toaster, microwave, ice maker).

The romantic suite with king sized bed and high end mattress, full bath, stand up shower and heart shaped Jacuzzi tub to relax after a day of hiking. A washer/dryer and half bath finish out the main level.

Upstairs is a loft sleeping and sitting area with queen sofa sleeper and great views of the mountains. The second suite with king sized bed, rain shower Jacuzzi tub and custom window for a panoramic view of the mountains as well as the kids bunk room are down the hall from the loft area. The kids bunk room features queen over queen bunk beds that can easily sleep adults.

Play Time! The lower level features a pool table, air hockey table, sauna, theater room with 9 foot screen, HD project and surround sound. Did we mention the full wet bar? Outside on the deck is the hot tub with great views of the mountains.

Some of the amenities are in need of an update (I.e. recovering the pool table felt, updating the very old projector and streaming capabilities in the theater room, installing sink disposal, etc.). They are organized, professional, and easy to work with, and all the cabins have been PHENOMENAL. Easy to book, clear and easy instructions for renting and checking in/checking out. The location of Almost Heaven is convenient to all the fun but perfectly secluded. The layout was great for our multifamily crew. There was plenty to entertain everyone from small kiddos to adults. The mountain views were perfect. Love this company and loved this cabin.

Great Trip

Ran out of time to play air hockey and pool,but nice to havethe option. Only real complaint is that it was a little bit far from town, but also like that it's away from the hectic strip. Love the seamless check in and out.

A little disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin while nice, is in need of a deep cleaning inside and out (out meaning power washing the decks/porches). The cabin location was good and close to Gatlinburg. On arrival google did route us to the cabin from Seviervile via north powdermill road, this is a very small and dangerous road which should be avoided imo. Although a longer route I would suggest arrivals and departure via Gatlinburg which is the route we used the remainder of our trip.

Lack of Cleanliness

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was easy. Location was great. Plenty of parking. Upon check in the first thing we noticed was some trash around the trash bins outside on the ground that had not been cleaned up and beer bottle lids on the ground. Upon entering , overall it looked clean but during our stay we noticed the following: Drawers/cabinets that hold utensils not clean, cabinets were sticky. Not enough cookware. Bottom Refrigerator drawer broken. Coffe pot resevoir not clean. Tub in master bath- jets looked black and not clean. For this reason did not get to use the tub. No tables on upper deck to sit things on while grilling. Door to main level balcony would not lock. No chairs, table, or hooks to hang towlels on bottom deck where hot tub was. Hot tub dirty. Bottom game room floor sticky and dirt under couch. No trash can in game room bar area. Bottom room shower floor very dirty. Could not open outside trash bins to put our trash in. Propert appears to get a surface only clean but rarely a deep cleaning.

I will definitely stay with them again, they have lots of choices so I think we will try something else. We booked directly on Elk Springs web site and found the best rate.

Not worth the money

Almost Heaven

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the 3rd time we stayed at this cabin over the years. We were very disappointed this time. As soon as we entered 1/2 the lights in the kitchen were out, the ice maker was frozen and when you sat on the couch you sank to the floor. There was food on the floor from the last occupant and the cabinets were all greasy. There was dust on the furniture and they did not disclose we couldn’t use the fireplace. When we took the center mat off the dining table it stuck with all the old food that was under it. After a great trip to Abrams Falls we tried to use the jacuzzi finding dirt in the bottom of it, pieces of purple plastic floating in it and the aerators not working. When I used the out door grill I found the floor beneath it coated with a large pile of grease from previous uses. This was once a great cabin but its now rundown and ill kept. I DO NOT recommend staying at this cabin until it is cleaned, repaired and updated.

Not the same!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: For years my family and I have only used Elk Spring Resorts for our cabin trips. They have always been extremely clean, well equipped with basic necessities, amazing decor, and in great locations. This trip in 2022 Nov was way different. There were things broken like the fridge, blood stains on our let out sofa, the beds and tables in every room was sticky with some sort of smudge, the rocking chairs were broken outside I nearly hurt myself, the Tv’s were so tiny compared to our previous trip with the same resort. All in all the cleaning crew did not do a good job and whoever is suppose to restock and repair didn’t do a good job neither

Good Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin was located in a nice area and was easy to get to. I would say it was as clean as I expected for such a large cabin. Some of the floors still felt dirty. There isn’t much lighting for a cabin this size and we found it was dark. During the day the large windows provided much needed light but at dark or on a cloudy day the cabin could use more lights. Several of the light bulbs were out or flickered on and off but I did not contact anyone to bring new bulbs. The theater room was amazing! By far our most favorite part of the cabin.

Excellent Cabin

Fairly close to downtown as well, but still felt like being in the woods/mountains. Checking in/out was really easy and was done via text and email.

Weekend Getaway

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have been to Gatlinburg maybe four times now and this has probably been my least favorite. Not to say it was all bad. Location was nice. Plenty of space for parking! Cabin was also clean. Just me and my fiancé stayed in this large cabin. Very spacious and plenty of space for a group of 12. All necessities as far as utensils, toiletries, and soaps were provided. The view was not as nice as i would of liked, the surround sound did not work. Sound came off projector which wasn’t loud at all. Sauna room was too big for heating unit. Heat was very minimum. Also the power went out about 2am. After a call to the service line power was restored within 20 minutes. I will say that was handled well. Not sure i would choose this resort next time we visit

Pretty outdated

Bedrooms are large and spacious. The drive up to the cabin is very steep, definitely need a car with 4 wheel drive. Overall was a pleasant cabin.

October vacation

Reviewer Comments: I thought the kitchen needed to better stocked with more pots and pans etc..would have been nice to have all of the porch covered and not just half. The biggest problem we had was the adjustment of heat and air. The bottom floor was freezing , the middle was good and the top floor was burning up. You could put some ac units in top floor. One room had no vent all on top floor. We had brought several box fans to help. Had a broken HDM1 chord for movie theatre when we arrived. It was repaired the next day. The maintenance staff was very prompt when called. The management office was very attentive and addressed matters immediately. Overall a very nice place to stay.
