Fully remodeled spring 2020

Our unit is ideally located on the 5th floor of a cozy 42 unit complex where you don’t have to compete for space on the beach. Step out of the condo and feel the sand between your toes. It has fantastic views of the ocean and beach while overlooking the pool & shuffle-board area. Other amenities include a community room, gym, outdoor shuffle-board and BBQ area. Ocean side porch with tall chairs provide an excellent place to enjoy your morning coffee, the evening sunset or just watch the children in the pool during the day.
The unit was fully renovated in 2020. The master bedroom has a king size bed while the second bedroom includes 1 queen and 1 twin bed. Amenities in the unit include a flat screen TV in the family room & second bedroom, cable, internet, and AC. The kitchen is sufficiently stocked and capable to cook any meal at home.
If you want a comfortable, homey place on a budget, with great views, right on the beach, then this is beach front getaway for you. Our rates are competitive.

Paradise!

The waters of Destin are absolutely beautiful! The complex is not that big so the beach area is not crowded and it is conveniently laid out. Condo was even nicer than the pictures showed. All recently remodeled.

Enjoyed my stay overall-other son owns home within block of condo- enjoyed beach -beautiful weather-being with family The condo was adequate- needs some repainting and extra cleaning- updating in some areas- lots of sand on floor- would help to have some type vacuum to get up sand while there Thanks

Great place to stay

This was the best condo we’ve stayed in since we started coming to Destin a few years ago. We enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend. Very clean and beautifully updated.

We loved every bit of the property. Everything there was easy to get to and the kids enjoyed it as well. Minute walk to the beach. Beautiful views from balcony. Everything easy to get to and close.

Wonderful vacation!

First time in Destin and we really got lucky with this condo. It was clean, had very comfortable beds, an amazing view and great communication with the owner. Highly recommend!

Annual Family/Friend Beach Vacay

The property was beautifully updated, cleaned and had everything we needed. We stay at Destin on the Gulf every year and this condo was perfect. We were able to check in early and had all supplies needed.

Me and my daughter "loved" staying at this property! It was in a great location with a private beach so it wasn't crowded. It was very safe with private gates and codes. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back! Thank you so letting us stay at your property!

Perfect no matter the weather

We just spent a week in our favorite condo in the Destin on the Gulf property. Although the weather didn’t cooperate (lots of rain) we had the most relaxing time watching from the comfy couches. The master bedroom is on the beachside of the condo and I listened to rain and waves and slept so soundly on the nice supportive mattress with great pillows. No sleep sound machine needed. The condo kitchen is well- equipped with everything you need to cook for an evening in.

Great stay overall

Great views of the ocean, property was updated and clean, plenty of bath towels, easy access to "hotspots," beach was not overly crowded like many other areas of Destin, nice lobby area to hang out as rain passed. The only (2) inconveniences were; one laundry area in hall for entire floor to use and used quarters during a coin shortage in FL apparently, and couldve used a small cordless vaccuum VS a broom for sand. Other than that, my family and I had a great time and very satisfied. Would go back again, despite the (2) minor items.

Beautiful property and location

David has recently remodeled this property and it turned out beautiful! The location is amazing, walk across to the beach so close that dragging all the gear wasn't a problem, and this end of the beach isn't nearly as crowded as other areas in Destin, we had a great week, will definitely try to book this condo again next year!

Perfectly Relaxing

I've stayed at many of the units in this complex. The upgrades to this one are outstanding. The master bath shower is such a great innovation. The larger counter in the kitchen is perfect for all those preps to load up for the beach. The views are perfect.

Great Location

The location of the property is great with great beach views and easy beach access. We had some issues on first arrival but the host remedied the situation and made it right. Would stay again.

True getaway

Beachfront and steps from the sand. Watch the dolphins troll the shore throughout the day and surf the waves early in the morning. It’s a pod of three to 10 dolphins. The beach is never crowded due to high rises (homes on the left and a low occupancy condo building to the right. Nevermore than one row of umbrellas and chairs. Speak with Simon who attends the chairs and umbrellas. He will take care of you. Great guy. Dining and shopping is only 10 minutes away. Target is one mile and Walmart is 4 miles. The condo is modern, clean, and fresh. The ocean and beach views from the balcony are amazing. The pics on VRBO should do a better job of showcasing the views because it is truly oceanfront from the 5th floor. Open the sliding door and let the ocean breeze take you away. The one concern is the lack of internet. It’s available but none existent. You’ll be fine with using your data and your hotspot. My family enjoyed the stay very much. So much so we inquired about purchasing a unit. We’d stay again for sure.

The condo is beautiful, whites and blues. The view is literally priceless! Just a short boardwalk to beach. Nice size pool and shuffleboard to play. Ok for kids to have pool toys. Beach chairs and umbrellas able to rent. Nice staff at condo and nice lifeguards. We were there during spring break and it was all family’s. Not very crowded beaches. Would liked to have longer window cover in bedroom, and a vacuum for sweeping. We will definitely return. Oh dolphins out daily so close swimming. The dream vacation.

Really nice place!

Pros- remodeled condo looks great and is very comfortable. Condo is right on the beach and is as close to the sand as you can find. Complex is not too big so the beach wasn't too crowded. Parking spots are close. Nice pool and good elevators. Nice location with short drives to restaurants and Target area. Cons (or maybe not cons as long as you know ahead of time)- washer and dryer are shared by your floor and costs to use them. Didn't have to wait to use them but they are not in the condo. If you are wanting to sleep in, the window coverings don't keep out much light. So, it's very bright early in the mornings and the outside lights shine through at night. There are no beach chairs or umbrellas to take to the beach. Only beach service is available unless you bring your own. Beach service for 2 chairs and an umbrella was forty the first day and thirty five each day afterwards plus tip. Would definitely recommend and go back here ourselves!

Great location for a family vacation!!!

Holiday Isle is were you want to stay! And Destin on the Gulf is a great choice! It's a small building, which we preferred during this crazy time, only 42 condos total on this property! Entry code required to park so felt safe and secure! This particular condo (506) was just renovated so was very nice! Everything was clean and beautiful! Many base spices and such to help with cooking, all basic supplies to cook with. The bedroom setup was perfect for us! Our kids are 9, 6 and 4 and shared the 2nd bedroom well! Boys shared the queen and daughter got the twin! Great water pressure and master shower/bathroom was very spacious to easily wash off kiddos! They had more than enough towels available for our family, they did have a funny smell, so we washed before we used them but could have just been the water or detergent. We are used to a tankless water heater at our home, so are spoiled when it comes to hot water, having a family of 5 with 3 small kids it takes a little time to get everyone washed off from the beach day so by the time my husband and I could get to wash off the water was warm at best. Not a terrible thing bc we were hot from the beach but just so other renters know. Master bed is super hard. Some people like that, we could have used a foam top or something. The 2nd room beds were very comfy. Overall I would say a 4.5 for this place and I would definitely go back! David was very nice and very good at answering questions quickly and respectfully! I loved this place! I was in Destin last year for a girls trip and my husband didn't believe me when I explained how clear and beautiful it was there, so I told him we were coming this year then Covid happened. Glad for take out!!! We were in the condo or on the beach and that's it but so worth it thanks to take out he got his sea food and now knows the beauty of Destin waters! Can't wait till we can come back and take the kids to do fun things around Destin too!!!

Great location

The property was newly remodeled and clean. The kitchen could have been better equipped as it did not have a skillet; however, when I contacted David, he promptly ordered us one and it was there in two days. The location of Destin on the Gulf is perfect for a relaxing beach vacation!

Family vacation

View and location are amazing. Remodel is very nice. WiFi is non existent so if you kids they will be device free. Which is not a bad thing. Very relaxing.
