Easily the coolest house I had ever rented. Great communication from the host. The only thing I wish was a little more clear were the clean up instructions. Thanks for being such a wonderful host!

The property is fabulous, inside and out. Great layout. Inside: tastefully furnished; comfortable, spacious bedrooms/ baths; fully stocked, functionally designed kitchen. Outside: beautiful pool, large cooking/dining area. Space to spread out, various group seating areas. Wonderful for family gatherings. Hosts are cordial and responsive.

The property was absolutely gorgeous, very spacious, and accommodated our group of 17 very comfortably for our 3-day stay. Everything you could possibly need was provided, and we had an amazing time enjoying the pool and deck. We genuinely wished we could have added another night or two.A quick tip for future renters:Standard cosmetic wear or loose concealed hinges can get flagged post-checkout. After our stay, the owner noted repair requests to their insurance company for three cabinet doors. One cabinet door we noticed to be off the hinge upon our arrival but did not flag it with the owner. The other two cabinets, we did not use. In a massive, multi-room home packed with a multitude of cabinets and drawers, guests naturally aren't auditing every cabinet interior during a short visit. However, my advice to future guests is to document the condition of the home very carefully upon arrival and immediately report anything that appears loose, damaged or out of place.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The home exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was excellent, making it convenient to get everywhere we wanted to go.The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly well organized. The kitchen was one of the best-equipped vacation rental kitchens we've experienced, with everything we needed thoughtfully provided. Throughout the home, it was evident that the owners paid close attention to every detail, ensuring guests had access to an abundance of amenities that made our stay comfortable and enjoyable.The outdoor space was just as impressive. The pool was sparkling clean, and the landscaping was beautifully maintained, creating a relaxing and inviting atmosphere for our family to enjoy.We truly appreciated the care and attention that went into preparing this home, and we would happily stay there again.The only suggestions we would offer are relatively minor. It would be wonderful to have televisions in every bedroom, especially in the children's rooms. Additionally, it would be helpful if the protective covers for the backyard patio furniture were rinsed or wiped down between guest stays, as ours had accumulated a noticeable amount of dust and pollen that we needed to clean off before using the furniture.Overall, this is a beautiful home with exceptional amenities, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and memorable vacation stay. We would definitely return!

We are a large family of 5 grown children and 8 grandchildren. We wanted a place to gather yearly together and found it here in Grass Valley. We wanted to share our space with other families so they can make lasting memories, as we have, with our families.

Sherwood Forest is a wonderful suburb of Grass Valley. it's a safe and quiet neighborhood, with lovely views.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The house has 3 levels, that allow privacy when needed or space to gather together.
The main floor has a large open kitchen with lots of open space and seating. This floor has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Big Livingroom and dining room, and its own large deck to relax on.
The lower floor can be its own 3 bedroom 2 bath apartment. It has a small gally kitchen with two burners, a small counter oven and a small refrigerator. This has a Livingroom and dinette, and a private outdoor deck to sit and relax.
The upper bunk room is set up with two bunk beds that have 3 levels each and a half bath. (twin,full,queen)
The yard features a full basketball court on one level. The next level has a pool and hot tub, gas fire pit and outdoor kitchen. Lots of tables and chairs to gather and enjoy the beautiful yard.
