Nicole was very responsive and accommodating. The house worked well for our family in town for a wedding. We would definitely return when back in the area.

Nevada City Casa Mariposa Stay

Our property for our stay was absolutely amazing! House was very clean and very modern. Absolutely fantastic kitchen! Our bed was quite comfortable, bathroom was very enjoyable, and plenty of towels/washclothes for everyone! We also very much appreciated the back deck to sit around the table & enjoy the incredible weather! Thanks so much to Nicole our host! You made our visit a very memorable one!

The host Nicole was professional, prompt in responses, and understanding when we inadvertantly left some items behind... I appreciate how she went out of her way and was super helpful with no hesitation! The house is nestled amongst large trees and is clean, organized and well-stocked with necessities. My family enjoyed all the amenities and had a very comfortable stay. Also we liked how close and easy the access was to downtown Nevada City for the Victorian Christmas event. I recommend this place with no hesitation.

Casa Mariposa was amazing!!The home was even better than the photos, CLEAN&tidy, wonderful kitchen &no clutter and nicely decorated! Very comfortable beds:) perfect size for our family 6 adults and two kids. Loved the outdoor deck for morning coffee &dinning ,we didn’t use the fire pit , it was lovely as well ! It looks like bocce ball court is in the near future!! We will definitely rent this home again. Can’t wait for the next time.!!!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole's beautiful home! The property is surrounded by towering trees and feels peaceful and private, while still being an easy drive to Nevada City and to the river. The home had plenty of space for our large group and it's beautifully furnished and updated. We cooked alot and the kitchen is well stocked and such a lovely place to make meals together and connect. The entire home was thoughtfully appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the yoga mats and the extra towels provided for our trips to the Yuba.The outdoor spaces were a highlight. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, playing on the new bocce court, and having dinner on the back deck under the stars. The neighbors on the street were super friendly and welcoming - which is not always the case with a vacation rental!Nicole is a dream to work with and clearly wants to create a special experience for her guests. My daughter left her wallet (!) and water bottle behind and Nicole went out of her way to make sure we get get our things back easily. We will definitely rent this home again as we love the area and it's a dreamy place to stay.

We loved staying here. It was a great house for families with kids. It was peaceful, relaxing, and had all the things we needed to keep kids of different ages entertained. Nicole was a great host!

Casa Mariposa genuinely exceeded our expectations! We have used both house rental platforms for years and can honestly say this stay is in our top two all time. Our host was a fabulous host. We truly felt that she was “there for us” and was very serious about all going well with our stay. The house was even better than the pictures. The overall feel you have while there is that of a high end feel. The kitchen was over the top with everything and I mean everything you could possibly need. And may I add that the organization and set up all the utensils etc. was the best we have ever experienced. The bathrooms were wonderful, the beds comfortable and the brown leather chair in game room was perfect for a good nap. TV’s were large and worked flawlessly, often not the case in other places. We know other guests will enjoy this home as much as we didand we only hope all guests will care for and treat this home the way it deserves to be treated. Was an easy drive to the grocery store and it was just a short walk from the house and you are on the canal trail which to us is the best place to walk in the area. Nicole thank you so very much for helping to make our 40th anniversary special!!
