Come join us on our farmette right in the heart of amish country! from the guesthouse/loft you can see horses, sheep and sometimes cattle in the meadows,also lots of silver maple trees. We live along a quiet road only a few minutes from the town of Intercourse...10 minutes from Bird in Hand...and 12 minutes from sight& sound and Dutch wonderland
The space
You will get the whole second floor of our garage, which is located on our quaint farmette. You'll have a full kitchen, living room, master bedroom, and full bathroom.
Other things to note
We have two friendly dogs who will probably greet you when you arrive.

The bedroom windows have blinds but the sun may still shine through,so if you like to sleep in the morning you may want to bring a face mask.

We are an active family of 8,Dad,Mom,1 daughter &5sons.We use the first floor of the garage quite a bit so you may hear us going in & out as well as playing in there at times. Please note that our boys are young & energetic & while we are trying to teach them to be respectful & mindful of guests upstairs, there is potential for noise.

Very nice place, it’s well maintained and comfortable.It’s easy to get around to places in that area, they’re very thoughtful about the snacks, coffee and fresh milk and eggs.While we’re there we booked it again.

We had a wonderful time. The apartment was very clean and welcoming. There were snacks, coffee, milk and eggs for us to enjoy. It was quite and peaceful.

Hannah was amazing and even left us milk and fresh eggs from her chickens. The property is large, beautiful, and very quiet and there is a beautiful farm with horses and goats right across the street. I should add they have the sweetest German Shepherd that loves to greet you in the morning for some puppy love! The apartment is beautifully decorated and clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and I've stayed at many Vrbo properties. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

This place is amazing. We loved everything about this apartment. The location is perfect. Being on the farm and seeing the animals was so nice. A very peaceful place. Super clean , the furniture is comfortable and the host left us milk and eggs. Everything about this place is thought out. I would highly recommend and I will be back.

We loved everything about our stay at the Silver Maple Guest House! The host was easy to communicate with and very hospitable! The house was cozy and complete with everything we needed for our stay as well as much appreciated snacks! A comfy bed, great reading nooks, and snuggly blankets made this guest house ever so welcoming! We hope to return soon!

Arrived on a dark night, but the instructions led me right to the garage apartment and parking. A lovely and loud German shepherd greeted me. Over the weekend, we became fast friends. The apartment has been decorated in perfect modern farmhouse style. Fresh and beautiful. The coffee, drinks and farm eggs awaited me. Although located in the middle of vast fields, which are lovely to drive by, I was able to visit New Holland, Ephrata, Paradise, Intercourse, and even tiny Mascot (best soft pretzels, yummm!) My camera couldn’t stop taking pictures of the horses and sheep across the street. Very much recommend.

Hannah is the most amazing host that even left us milk, eggs and snacks. The apartment was exceptional and very clean. Hannah has thought of every little detail down to lotion and bath salts. The bed is very comfortable and the towels were lush. It’s so peaceful and the perfect place for a getaway!! It’s not far from many places and Lancaster attractions. I would HIGHLY recommend you stay here if looking in this area. We hope to one day go back. I really can’t say enough good things about the host and apartment!! Thank you, Hannah!!!!
