Tucked away in the quiet beauty of Twin Lakes, just ¼ mile from Forebay Reservoir and near the base of Mt. Elbert, this newly built mountain cabin offers a peaceful retreat for guests craving simple living and time in nature. Designed for unplugging and unwinding, the cabin blends rustic charm with thoughtful modern comforts—without the distractions of everyday life.
Inside, the space is warm and welcoming, featuring a fully equipped modern kitchen with a dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, stove/oven, and bar seating—ideal for easy meals after a day outdoors. Two cozy bedrooms offer a queen bed and a full bed, with an additional sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. A wood stove and electric heat keep the cabin comfortable on cool mountain evenings.
Step outside onto one of two decks and take in sweeping views of Mt. Elbert, perfect for morning coffee, quiet reflection, or stargazing at night. Whether you’re returning from hiking, fishing, or simply seeking a calm mountain escape, this cabin is an inviting place to slow down, recharge, and reconnect with nature.

Beautiful corner lot in a small neighborhood. Easy walk to the reservoir. Dog friendly. No wifi and little cell service made it easy to disconnect. The cabin could use a bit of staging. But good value for the price.

Very nice and comfortable home. Great views. The roads to it in the subdivision were gravel and washboardy- driving slowly works. The quiet and privacy were outstanding!

Lovely private cabin. So close to lake and walked multiple times a day there. Host was super prompt in communication. I have already booked again as I love the location.

Great place to stay! Host was very responsive to our needs. The house was clean and well kept. Absolutely beautiful view of Mt. Elbert through the trees out the front window. Be aware that this is Colorado and the roads into the property are rough and steep but easily handled by 2WD, just take it slow. Kind of a small parking area. We had a UTV on a small trailer and parked it alongside the road which you’re not supposed to do but there was almost no traffic so I don’t think it was a problem but you should probably arrange a place to park any trailer on the property with the owner.
