We apologize for any confusion regarding the distance to the beach. Rental listings with photos on Vrbo and Real Joy websites are current and accurate descriptions to the best our knowledge. Maintenance workers and inspectors have addressed a majority of the issues that have been brought to our attention. The owner does not have any updates planned at this time. Quality control will take place soon and any recommendations from property managers will be forwarded to the owner(s). Although we completely understand your frustration regarding the lack of public beach space, this is unfortunately an issue that many of us must contend with. Real Joy manages the condo you were in, not the building, so it sounds like most of your negative commentary is about how the building was being managed at the time of your stay and not about the quality, cleanliness or beauty of Palms 2608. You should have gotten an email prior to your stay letting you know that we do not provide cooking essentials such as cooking oils and spices so you should plan to bring these items from home or purchase them once you get here. This is for safety reasons. We are sorry if the unit was not as clean as it should have been. Next time, let us know and we’ll send someone to redo the work.
