Great location/place to stay

Our stay went super well until the last night when the AC went out. They had to install portable AC units but that left one bedroom hot but the staff helped make it right! Will stay here again :)

Overall, the unit was wonderful! It’s in a great location in the building, was very spacious, and the balcony had a pretty view of the ocean. The only downfall was the beds which were not very comfortable. The Palms of Destin was nice, but could use updating. The bar/restaurant did not have enough staff. Everyone was very nice, but you could tell they were stressed from being so busy. The food was just okay. The location is great — short walk to the beach and many restaurants and shops. It was very convenient to have Walmart next door. I would definitely stay again!

Our stay at The Palms of Destin over the Fourth of July weekend was overall good, but I don't think I would stay here again for the price we paid. The property is nice, but it's definitely showing its age. You can tell it gets a lot of traffic, and while management seems to be doing their best to keep up with maintenance, it doesn't feel like a 4- or 5-star resort. On the positive side, the nightly live band by the pool was a great touch and something we really enjoyed. Guest services was excellent throughout our stay, and our condo was clean and stocked with all the essentials we needed. The beds were on the firmer side, but that's pretty typical for many vacation rentals. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed our time in Destin. For us, though, the value didn't quite match the price. I'm glad we experienced it once, but we would likely choose a different place for our next visit.

The room was very clean. I was surprised to see everything the kitchen had to offer. The view was amazing. The room had everything.
