Canopy Cottage is a peaceful riverfront cabin perched above the Ellijay River in the North Georgia mountains—offering privacy, comfort, and quick access to Ellijay and Blue Ridge (just over 1 mile from Hwy 515).

A walking path leads down to the river where guests can enjoy the water, dock area, and fire pit.

Great place to get away, with 5-star interior

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin was perfectly located, while still feeling remote. It was more than enough room for us and our pups- the bedrooms are about the size of an average living room. The interior from the rooms/bathrooms to the kitchen appear to have been renovated recently,at an obvious expense. The included amenities and river access for fishing were top notch. My only wish was that it would have been nice to walk to the river, instead of having to take the truck, but it was still only a five minute drive. We will definitely be planning a return trip!

Favorite Cabin! Just Amazing!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our favorite cabin! We have stayed at several Sliding Rock cabins and this one so far is our favorite! Right from the start driving up is so welcoming and taken care of and perfectly clean! The cabin has everything and more you could need for a wonderful relaxing stay. Kitchen is fully stocked, deck overlooking the river, large hot tub and the Traeger grill and a gas grill amazing! 3 bedrooms with 3 full baths and one has a soaking tub! The huge fenced in yard with deck access for my fur kids plus the dog bed, bowls and treats! We could not have asked for more! We plan on coming back soon. Thank you Sliding Rock!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! Clean, comfortable and beautifully done. If that was the only thing you were looking for, this is the place for you. The biggest thing my family and I wanted was to enjoy the cool river water during this hot Georgia summer, and that was a bit trickier. I think the description for the property on this point is a bit off. The path to the water is a steep, winding downhill walk, which feels even steeper on the way back up! When I asked about easier water access, the property manager did tell us about access we could drive to a short way down the road that had a steps to the water. It was a nice area, but parking was tough. We were really hoping to see and hear the river from the cabin, and maybe you can during other seasons. Next time I will ask more questions to make sure a cabin is what we really want! But if you want a peaceful getaway in a beautiful cabin and the riverfront part is not that important, this is a beautiful place.
