Rest and relaxation.

We loved the house and it’s location on the beach was a real treat! We traveled all over the island and were happy to return each night. We stayed here two weeks and hope to return again.

Beautiful home and location

My wife and I and our three kids stayed here for the week. The house was clean, communication was easy, and the location was great. We were right on a beautiful beach and only 5 minutes to the marina a nice downtown area. We would definitely stay again.

Another lovely stay

Another lovely stay at Lisa's beach cottage. It's been recently renovated so it's very comfortable, but she has maintained the country beach cottage charm that we so enjoyed on our first visit. She's a wonderful host and we'll be back again!

Beautiful Experience

Our time at the cottage was perfect. The home has everything you would need, and the owner is very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this beautiful home.

Really a lovely beach front cottage!

Cute, cute vintage cottage right on the beach! Nice, homey touches; quiet cul de sac location near the old sugar town of Waialua. The owner was helpful and accommodating. Easy driveway parking for two cars. Would definitely stay here again, should we ever be so lucky to come back!

Haleiwa Paradise

Our family of four had a perfect stay at this beach house. The location was perfect. Five minutes from downtown Haleiwa, but far enough away to provide privacy and peace. The near is literally your back yard. House was very clean and well appointed and Lisa was very easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely Amazing!

The title should say it all. This was our fifth time in Hawaii and second stay on the North Shore. Hands down best property so far! Listing is exactly as described, you and your family won't be disappointed!

Just as described - worked well for our family of five

The home was as we expected. It was right on the beach in a quiet neighborhood. It offered a North Shore location without the crowds. The house was well equipped - utensils, linens, games, outdoor toys, etc. The owner communicated well with us before and during our stay.

Beachfront Vacation

Our stay was beyond what we could have dreamed for. Literally three steps of stairs down to the beach of the north shore. The ability to watch the ocean from the backyard or from the beach was wonderful. It was a very private beach with only a handful of people in the area at one time. We would come back here in a heartbeat because of it's peaceful yet welcoming vibes from the area.

PERFECT.

great time away. house is perfect. kitchen and living area are huge and modern. Bedrooms are just fine. We were a little skeptical with no AC..but you don't need it. Open the windows and sleep to the sound of the ocean and it even gets cool. Location is rural and super chill but 5 minutes from stores, restaurants, and the North Shore.

Comfortable Home

The house is right next to the ocean. We loved hearing the waves while we slept. The house has everything you need. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of towels for everyone. There is a washer and dryer so we were able to wash clothes if we needed to. There's a town just a couple of miles away that has a grocery store. We would definitely stay here again.

Spectacular

Everything about this place was amazing! The description in the listing could have listed so many more things. It was so nice falling asleep to the sound of the ocean to waking up to the sound and Being right on the beach. The views were amazing and the house felt like a home. You could not have asked for a better place to stay! Even reaching out to the owner asking a few questions, she responded very quickly. There is nothing negative I could say. This is the best place we have stayed! The only thing I would change is I wished it was mine!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful family vacation! The cottage was perfect. It felt so comfy. There was nothing that we needed that was not provided. Beds super comfy. Plenty of room in the cottage. Loved our walks on the beach. Enjoyed watching the turtles play in the water. Plenty of shopping and areas to eat in the near by town. We toured the island and always enjoyed return for rest and relaxation. We loved being out of the big city and really loved the West and Northern part of the island. We did not have any problems with checking in. Lisa answered any questions very quickly. Would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage!

Waialua house

Old and unkept interior of the house. Not clean. Doug sat in a plastic Adirondack chair the day we arrived and the back of it broke causing a cut on his arm.I text the owner twice, never heard from her. This home needs to be updated to be on VRBO.The beach was great, that was the nice part of this vacation, but the house needs attention.

WOW! I just read this review. So offended! After 5 years of renting our lovely home you're our first bad apple! Yes our property is older as we mention in our description and does require maintannace but it is not unkept. I have a great cleaning crew that do a great job. If you're not accustomed to country living I recommend staying in a hotel room in Waikiki costing 2 times more than I charge for a house on a beautiful white sand beach. You say you NEVER heard from me about Doug cutting his arm on the adirondack chair. Lie....🤥 Attacking my characters is so uncool! I didn't see your text immediately but I DID respond. I felt terrible and was very apologetic about what happened. We obviously didn't know the chair had a crack in it or we would have replaced it. Anyways, for anyone reading our reviews, you can see that are home has been very loved from past guests and recent guests. Our main priority is that all visitors have wonderful memories of their time spent on our beautiful island.

Amazing House right on the beach on the North Shore

This was a fantastic house to stay in during our spring break stay on the North Shore. The House was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our family of 4. The backyard is beautiful and backs right up to the ocean. The beach is not great for swimming but fantastic for a walk on the beach or a nap in the backyard. You can listen to the waves as you fall asleep at night and the chirping of the birds in the morning. We loved having access to the shed that was stocked with boogie boards, beach chairs and snorkeling gear. The location is perfect. It's only about a 5 minute drive to the main street of Haleiwa and about an hour drive to Waikiki, Kailua Beach, or Kualoa Ranch. Lisa was super great to work with. She responded promptly to any questions we had about the home or the area and was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if we return to the North Shore.

Great location in Northshore area. Close to restaurants and shops. I would definitely rent this place again.

Cutest authetic Beach house

Lisa was an amazing host! Responsive and hekpful! The home was cute, clean, and very authentic Quiet neighborhood Very private beach with only a few people seen our entire trip The yard was nice and tropical! We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our stay Close to Haleiwa for shopping and shave ice! We thank Lisa for sharing her amazing beach home with us!! Many Mahalo's Lisa🤙

Old Hawaii

Our stay was amazing. The home, beds were cozy. The yard opens onto the beach and there are numerous sandy fingers to navigate a swim. Sunsets unreal! No AC but fans help and it takes a little getting adjusted to. My wife had a surprise glider flight at Dillingham airfield and loved it ! Take a ride that way and stop at the park opposite with a cup of coffee and watch the gliders on Tues and Sat - sit at a a picnic table and then hit the beach feet away without a soul around… The town nearby had many, many food options. Malasatas at a local bakery, the coffee mill - 👍 All were so quick to get to that we did not miss out just relaxing in the yard

Perfect Location

This is a cute older beach cottage right on the ocean. The home is well equipped with essentials and beach toys/chairs/snorkels etc. the beach is not crowded in the summer, waves are light, great snorkeling. Lots of rocks but several sandy areas too, there were water shoes at the house. My family who lives on the island were very impressed with the location and layout of the home. This is a quiet area. We enjoyed dining and shopping in Hale’iwa, and hiking at Ka’ena point. Waimea falls and Toa Luau were also amazing. We are vegan and found lots of great food. We also loved the local fruit stands. My teen kids liked shopping in the near by city and snorkeling at the beach. This is a cute quaint cottage, it was perfect for us. Not having AC was not a problem, days are warm but it’s cool at night and there’s lots of fans. We highly recommend this home!

Nice house, as described. These vrbo’s are pricey, but apparantly thats what the market is on Oahu.
