This was a great little place to get some R&R. Highly recommend. Terrie, the host, is very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend it.

The only positive thing to say is that the beach view was good. But the property had a mold problem that created a bad smell. When we checked in we had to clean throughout and wash all the towels and bedding before use. The property is located on a building site and the noise and dust was terrible. It has no air conditioning that made our stay very uncomfortable. We also had parking problems. The property is old and has seen better days. It is overpriced and not worth the money. The host tried to make an additional charge after checking out, but fortunately Vrbo refunded me. I would not recommend it to anybody. The positive ratings from pervious travelers are not accurate, and should not be relied upon. There must be better places to stay in Hawaii!

Cottage was as described. Perfect view! Couldn't be better! host was concerned about the construction, but that was not an issue at all! With our reserved parking space, we never had an issue finding a spot. Only things I would mention would be...There is no air conditioning, just fans and even with the fans, If you're not used to heat and humidity it could be uncomfortable. Also, because the beach access and hose off is right by the cottage, and the cottage has so many wonderful windows, there is not a lot of privacy. You don't want to close the curtains, Because then you close off the airflow, but people can see right in the cottage, if it's dark outside and the lights are on in the cottage. So we went to bed with the sun and woke up with the sun. But the fact that we could walk out and snorkel, with sea turtles was epic!!!!!Several very useful items in the kitchen for cooking, which we did. Loved the use of the rice cooker.Excellent location on Oahu! Away from the main crowds, everywhere you look is beautiful! Quiet, and peaceful!

Loved the lanai. Friendly complex. Unit itself is old, but hey, so are we. Very comfortable. Great owner. Hope to return someday.

We loved this little cottage. It was clean and had all the ameneties that we needed. Good location for exploring the North Shore. Host was very concerned about the ongoing construction interferring with our trip, but the company doing the work always provided us with a spot. Communicaton was good. We saw turtles on the beach.

Location, Location, Location! Snorkeled with the turtles and really enjoyed the outside lanai. It's an older complex that could use some TLC but it was clean and everyone was very friendly. There was construction going on in the front parking lot that didn't really affect our stay. The owner was very proactive in notifying us about the construction and parking situation.

Amazing location! The host Terrie was very communicative and we had no issues checking in or out. We love the north shore and staying at this cottage made our trip even better! I do want to note that the cottage is one of a quad-plex (first floor, so can walk right to beach from the patio!) and the beach is shared with a hotel, so it was not as private as we initially expected, but that didn't affect our overall experience. Would book again!

Amazing location for a incredible price!

We had an incredible stay! The lanai was incredible and we saw turtles in the water almost every day! The place was great and had everything that we needed for our escape to paradise!

Weekend getaway

This property is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Steps away from the beach. This part of Oahu is a slower pace than Honolulu.

Beyond Fabulous!

Stay was simply wonderful! Turtles galore and Terries property is the sweetest of all the cottages! Terries sweet all day long as well. Seriously this stay will make you come back for more.

Beach paradise

We enjoyed our stay. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean and waking up every morning seeing the sunrise from the lanai. Beautiful location and a very cute cottage.

Beautiful view!

While the cottage is a little old, it's comfortable and had everything we needed. The view, closeness to the beach, and the sea turtles basking on the beach in the early mornings definitely make it a place to experience. The host, Terrie, is extremely helpful and responsive.

Great Location

We stayed in the Lanai the entire time. Saw turtles every morning on the beach. Very relaxing and met many great people! Terrie the host was wonderful.
