Relax at the beach for your next vacation, look no further than the Apollo #1002 island escape! This top floor 1 bed 1 bath condo offers some of the most stunning sunsets from your very own private balcony. The Apollo Condominium is located on the South tip of Marco Island. The views are absolutely stunning! Enjoy all the amenities the Apollo offers, sauna, fitness room, tennis, spa, heated pool and the popular on-site Sunset Grille! Only a few other buildings on the entire Marco Island beach has a walk-up restaurant/bar, those being the hotels.

The Apollo was nominated in 2015 by Trip Advisor, the highly regarded Traveler's Award Certificate of Excellence! This award winning building provides an unreal experience for all guests that visit.

Marco Island is the largest of Florida's Ten Thousand Islands, located on the Gulf of Mexico in Southwest Florida. It has been described as Magical, Mystical and Alluring. The attraction is tropical sun-washed white beaches and a casual easy paced life style. Sunshine, frolicking dolphins, and all of the water and sun sports that go with the beaches are available for your pleasure.

PROS: Condo has a great view of the beach and Gulf. Comfortable bed. CONS: Not overly clean. Light fixture over kitchen table rusty and dirty. Baseboards in bathroom dusty. No ceiling fans. No hand dish soap. Cheap and uncomfortable patio furniture on balcony. For the price compared to other condos on the beach wasn't bad and was fair for what you got.

Can't beat the views and you'll be hard-pressed to beat the price. Being a condo association, there is an extra layer of check-in instructions about parking, etc. Just read the instructions carefully and you'll be fine. A word of caution: this may not be the best option for families with young kids. The sofa bed is right by the sliding door to the balcony which has lots of furniture that be tempting to climb. We opted to have our kids sleep in the bedroom so that they wouldn't wake up before us and go out on the balcony unsupervised. Like almost all sofa beds, it's not the comfiest option for adults. The whole complex was also very quiet. This might be a Marco Island thing rather than an Apollo thing, but we felt like we had to shush our kids a lot to keep from bothering the generally older, quieter crowd.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the location, top floor, right on the beach, with an oceanfront balcony! The kitchen, while small had a modern large microwave, a small dishwasher and a modern, efficiency stove top. The condo is a bit small, but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The TV in the dining/living room and in the bedroom was small. Then balcony was awesome with a new easy sliding door. Security in the complex was very good and we had covered reserved parking. Thank you!

First, the good stuff: the king size bed was very comfortable, the towels were good, and the remodeled kitchen and bathroom were very nice. The view is spectacular, the balcony is a great place to hang out, the beach is right there, and the staff at the Apollo are very accommodating. Now for the negatives that are generally easy to fix: the bedroom dresser drawers are broken; most of the drawers just fall out when you open them. The bedroom window blinds are broken and unusable. The closet could use more hangers, not a big expense to fix. The televisions are very small; we quickly gave up on them as they were hard to see from the couch or especially the bed.They provide you with one roll of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and one dishwasher pod, but not even a small shampoo to get you started on your first day here. I like to clean up after myself, but no cleaning supplies are provided. How about a broom and some spray cleaner? And someone please get rid of this hideous “centerpiece!”
