Enjoy an open-concept living space, fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops, and brand-new appliances. Sleeps guests comfortably with a king, queen, and bunk with trundle, plus two full baths. Walk to Bear’s Den Restaurant & Bar, ride ATV/snowmobile trails, and explore Pictured Rocks, waterfalls, boating, and more. Hot tub coming Spring 2026.

Cute house and everything was clean. The kitchen is well stocked with things for cooking. The location is a great central spot for visiting lots of UP towns!

If you truly want the rustic feel inside is amazing! Knotty Pine tongue and groove everywhere! Kitchen is well equipped and bathrooms have the essentials. There is a hot tub and grill to use. Kendra, the host is amazing and will do everything in her power to make your vacation special.

This was a don’t judge a book by its cover situation. The outside was definitely not as nice as the inside. The inside could not be better or cleaner. The location was not great but the inside was great. The host was so nice and accommodating.

We stayed at lazy bear for a girls weekend, five women. Pros - plenty of hot water, the cabin was very comfortable, plenty of room. It was equipped for everything we needed. The hot tub was a bonus! Cons- the outlets in the living room did not work, the fridge\freezer fluctuated temperature, our ice cream was always soft. The beds were a little harder than what we prefer, but that's a personal preference. They were noisy and squeaky when you moved. The water pressure seemed to diminish when it was used in multiple areas (example, running the faucet in the kitchen and taking a shower at the same time). Other than that, we would definitely recommend this facility! We had an amazing time, it was very relaxing, the area is beautiful!

Nice location for our visit to Munising to take the Pictured Rocks boat tour. The Minnesota and Canadian wild fires were causing unhealthy air quality and very foggy/smokey conditions so hard to enjoy much time outdoors.

Lovely inside, fresh and new with a really cute cabin-style vibe. The location is really convenient to Pictured Rocks Lakeshore, especially the Miner’s area. Looks like they’re making improvements to the exterior and some of the surrounding property is for sale, so perhaps that could be upgraded in the future. We checked out the area with google street view before booking, so the neglected property nearby was not a surprise. Our family of five had a really nice stay.

So, this property is absolutely beautiful inside. Light knotty pine walls and ceilings, lovely countertops, huge coffee bar, all brand new appliances. The dishes too were so nice.The location is close to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, in a slightly run down part of town. The outside of the house/property needs some TLC. But, do not let that scare you. I’m sure the owners intend to fix up the outside. The inside is perfect, and you will love it.

Thank you Susan! Yes, we just bought the property in the winter and focused on the inside. Now that the bugs are calming down we are getting the yard groomed and siding replaced with log siding!
