This hidden Gem boasts of it's location near the big lake. Located just steps from Lake Superior this is just the place to enjoy water sports hiking biking trail orv/snowmobiling kayaking glass bottom boat tours Pictured Rocks national park scuba diving guided tours ice climbing, water falls. Boat launch scuba diving kayaking trail access all which are in walking distance. High speed internet 100 mbps.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mike & Shelly’s lovely one-bedroom rental apartment. Great views of the water, and within a mile of downtown Munising. Hoping to return for a future stay!

Suite was so perfect for us! Clean, fully appointed kitchen, comfortable bed and living room furniture. Close to all attractions in the Munising area.

Lovely place across from the city ballpark and the boat launch. The property is well maintained, clean and nicely decorated. The stairs leading to the 2 units are steep but there are handrails on both sides. The location is convenient to town, a 3-5 min drive or 20-30 min walk.

Perfect location for the things we wanted to do. Downtown area we enjoyed. Small places so you need to get there early as only a couple places for breakfast. Cute apartment was perfect for 2. Very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very nice and lovely property. We will be back!

Mike and Shelley were great hosts! Responsive and accommodating. We were able to park our truck with attached boat along side the house/back entry so that was convenient. The space was very clean and quiet. There is no air-conditioning, but the fans were helpful. Also remember to bring shampoo/soap with you (I forgot to ask if some was provided). This is a great area. There is a convenience store and gas station right across the street, you are right next to the boat launch, and restaurants are close by! I would recommend staying here!

1) Never received access information prior to arriving at the property2) Michael’s wife answered our knock at the door. Michael unavailable. We left for close to an hour to give her time to get the code. She said she call us when available. 3) Waited the amount of time agreed and went back without no call received. Was give the access code. Walked to back of home and upstairs as directed. Found the unit with a slept in bed, full trash cans and old food in fridge. 4) We notified wife and was told they had trouble with their room staff. She would and call and let us know when it was ready for us. We went for dinner, no call, went back and found wife and Michael saying they just finished cleaning…less than an hour to clean up whole unit..:super uncomfortable situation. Would not recommend this property, not only due to this poor experience but the unit did not match online photos, and was a poor value for cost of the property. Was a real downer to our Upper Peninsula vacation.

It was the perfect accommodations for our fall getaway and I highly recommend staying with these hosts. We had a gorgeous view of Lake Superior and the bluffs. The central location for hiking and exploring was perfect. Thank you!

Comfortable, clean apartment in great location!

Our family enjoyed our stay while visiting Munising. It was perfect for our family of three - the kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, the place was spotless and the view of the lake was beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay! Great location, well stocked, and so comfortable. We were able to bike to town for coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. Thanks for everything!

I purchased this property as a retirement home and an income property with 2 apartments upstairs. The 2 apartments were 1 year leases all this time, however, I have always wanted to turn them into vacation rentals. Due to life circumstances, it has taken longer than I had expected! I renovated them 1 year ago and opened for the 2015 summer season. I have so enjoyed the process and love meeting all my guests. I am a proud lifelong resident of Munising and love showing off my community and the surrounding area to all.
