A true Mountain Experience!! With a massive, panoramic view, GrandView offers both rustic and luxury elegance. GrandView is a newly renovated and professionally decorated mountain cabin. Set in the Banner Elk subdivision of Grey Fox, a gated community, GrandView is conveniently located within 5 minutes of both Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain Ski Resorts with both offering fantastic year-round activities.

This open-floor plan cottage offers the opportunity to sit on the sofa or dine at the large rustic table (seats 10) and enjoy a coveted, wide open, long range view. Every room in the house boasts this view.

As you enter GrandView you will find a great room, kitchen and dining area. The living area has a large stone fireplace with gas logs and a brand new 55” HDTV. Comfortable leather furniture completes the space. The Master Bedroom is on the main level and comes with a King bed, 55” HDTV and private bathroom. Downstairs offers two bedrooms, both with King beds, TV’s and their own bathrooms. A large Den/Rec room is furnished with a large, comfortable sectional sofa (great for watching movies or relaxing after a day on the slopes), 60” Smart HDTV, fold-up bed, and a separate laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.

You’ll love GrandView because of the huge panoramic views, beautiful decorations and rustic mountain feel, 3 king beds with accommodations for 7, three large screen TVs, dual family areas, and a large open deck that is covered on one side for those desiring the shade. Our place is close to mountains, waterfalls, rivers and lakes, hiking and biking trails, golf, restaurants, horseback riding, wineries, skiing, tubing, sledding, whitewater rafting, and more. GrandView is good for couples, families (with kids), business travelers, and groups.

This is a perfect location for all the High Country has to offer. Whether you want to ski, hike or sit on the covered deck and enjoy the view, Grandview is as good as it gets! Everything is new, clean and much attention has been given to every detail.

We had a very nice stay and the property was beautiful as advertised. My only gripe was that there was no soap or shampoo in the bathrooms nd for such a nice property, i think something tiny like that could go a long way to making the stay considetably nicer.

Actually, we put one bar of soap and a container of liquid soap in each bathroom. However, we do not provide shampoo because there are so many different personal preferences.

Loved the amazing views from this cottage! The only thing (which was my own fault for not confirming) is that there is no AC in the unit. The days we were there got into the mid-80s (unusual for this location) so the afternoons were a little warm. However the nights really cooled down and made it quite comfortable for sleeping. The check-in was easy, there is only enough parking for one car. Well equipped, but I'd bring extra wash cloths and towels if there are more than a couple of people. Overall a lovely stay and really enjoyed it.

We loved having these guests in our home and we are very thankful for the 5 star review! I just wanted to clarify a couple of things: 1. If you park parallel to the road you can only park one car. However, if you park perpendicular to the road (which most people do), you can park three Ford F150s! 2. Also, we provide two sets of towels (including hand towels and wash cloths) for each King bed (which there are 3) and an extra set for the pull out bed. So for each rental there are 7 sets. I am assuming this guest failed to look on the back of the bathroom doors for the towels.

The views are incredible and watching the changing weather patterns is quite a treat. The house is large, with plenty of room for everyone (even though it was just the 2 of us!). It’s centrally located, yet very private. There is easy access to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. The kitchen is well stocked, making preparing meals at home easy. And the bedrooms/bathrooms are very separate, allowing everyone their privacy with great common space for times shared together. We’ve stayed here twice - and will keep coming back. The owner is very responsive both before, during and after the rental.

The cabin was perfect as we each had our own bedroom and bathroom. The view was incredible and the weather was fantastic. Banner Elk and surrounding areas were beautiful and charming. We did not want to leave.

No A/C in the unit, but it was nice and cool. Nightime was in the 60's and just open the windows is all you need. The mountain views were impressive. You could feel perfectly safe in the gated community. Everything was arranged nicely. Two living areas with the downstairs being the most comfortable with more seating area. All rooms in the house have a mountain view. We took a nice walk to get more mountain views and walk off some calories. No houses visible from the balcony on the side....perfect privacy. There is no normal "driveway", but it was like parallel parking and two cars easily will fit. I cannot wait to go again. John, the owner, was a perfect host; responed to all emails quickly. Thanks John.

We loved staying at this beautiful home. It is actually nicer than the pictures. Amazing views!! The only downfall was there isn't a driveway. Just a pull off in front on house. There is maybe room for two cars. We had a suv and there was maybe room left for a smaller car. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful home & the perfect place for our annual girls trip. We enjoyed our mornings by the fireplace with coffee & our nights at the outdoor table playing games.
