Beautiful remote location yet 20 minutes from restaurants, grocery and shopping. The original Mast General Store was a fun surprise just a short drive from the property. Great wrap around porch with ample furnishings, open floor plan for visiting and well-appointed kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin and location was amazing! We were so impressed driving in about the location on the mountain.Only very small knock is that there were a few cobwebs around the hot tub and deck area, but no big deal.Overall, very worth it for a short spring getaway!

This was a beautiful property! Amazing views, well- stocked kitchen. Plenty to keep young ones occupied. I wish the game room had air-conditioning. We did not use the hot tub but the set up for it was beautiful. I love that the wrap-around deck was completely gated! Great for children and pets! Would definitely return to this property in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin and would definitely recommend it. The cabin was exceptionally clean upon arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking meals, and the views from the property were beautiful and relaxing.One of the standout details was how thoughtfully everything was organized. The light switches, cabinets, and drawers were clearly labeled, making it incredibly easy to find what we needed without having to search. It's a small touch that made a big difference during our stay.The pillows were honestly some of the most comfortable we've experienced in a rental property, and we slept great throughout our visit. We also loved spending time in the hot tub, which was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.Overall, this cabin exceeded our expectations with its cleanliness, comfort, attention to detail, and amenities. We would gladly stay here again.

Very difficult entry with 13 steep steps. You will take your luggage, groceries, and grandma up and down these steps your entire stay. Sofa and recliner chairs are extremely low to the floor. Do not sit without a plan to stand up. The mountain views have narrowed up considerably due to tree growth. Finally, the access roads are very steep with many switchbacks, and they would be completely impassable with snow or ice. Boone is at least a 30-minute drive. These things being said, this place is very nice and secluded. The kitchen is excellent. If you have good mobility, it's probably fine for you and your family.

Cabin was perfect. Very relaxing. Kitcgen had everything we needed to cook just about anything we wanted. We got snowed in while we were there and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again!

Wow! This property is absolutely stunning! The view alone is great & the amenities outstanding. Extremely clean, well thought out and easy check in/out. Everything was close to perfect. Deck was covered with leaves so my daughter brought up a blower when she came to town. Location was great. House very clean. For a week stay, more paper products provided would been nice. Overall beautiful property and clean home. Would definitely come back.

Graduation weekend stay

This was a beautiful and spacious place to stay with my family for my little sister's graduation weekend from App State. It was located 20-25 minutes from Boone with views of the luscious mountains, trees, and hills all around. 10/10 we all really enjoyed it. Thanks!
