A fantastic cabin, central to all High Country attractions with 6-star hospitality. Just minutes to Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock, our home has three bedrooms and three baths and comfortably sleeps 10. Our beautifully decorated home boasts a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee bar, bathrooms with fluffy towels, and ready-made beds with linens and blankets. Kids of all ages can enjoy the game room with air hockey and a Pac-Man arcade game. There are Samsung SMART TVs in each bedroom and living room, reclining couches, YouTube TV, Samsung TV, HULU, Disney +, and ESPN+. Sit back and relax on our beautiful porch and take in the breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain.

A great getaway!

We really enjoyed this cabin! Awesome location, beautiful views and great for kids. We enjoyed the living areas and the kids loved the game room. Beautiful and cozy.

Best Mountain Getaway

This was the perfect place, starting from the phenomenal experience with the host Jeremy, to being a beautifully scenic and convenient location. Clean and well stocked. We will definitely stay again!

Great Weekend with our family!

Our family had a fabulous time at the cabin. The accommodations were lovely and had everything we needed and more. Very cleaned and organized. Jeremy was a great host very attentive to our needs.

Amazing mountain stay!

Our family loved our time at Higher Elevation! The home was exactly what we needed for time together without feeling too squished. We enjoyed the board games, hot tub, and game room. The property was clean, the kitchen amply supplied, and Jeremy communicated well throughout the process. Would definitely recommend this home!

Jeremy was amazing and very responsive during our stay! Property was great and we had a wonderful time. Kitchen was well stocked and even provided complimentary coffee and creamer. Very comfortable stay.

Great stay , highly recommend.

Jeremy was wonderful in his communications in our short week away to enjoy autumn at higher elevation. The view was wonderful, the location was convenient to several nearby towns and attractions. The hot tub and amenities in this cabin were excellent. Look forward to a return trip.

Best well equipped VRBO ever utilized - tons of very noce touches to make the stay pleasant. Owner super communicative to insure all was good. Went above and beyond to eliminate 1 very small issue. Definitely on our "must return" list.

Making memories

Our 85 year old dad wanted to visit the mountains one last time, his health is declining very fast and this was where he wanted to stay. We had so much fun with him even though we wore him out…great time was had by all of us..

Mountain getaway

We had a great stay at Higher Elevation. The home was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The check-in process was easy and Jeremy was responsive and very easy to communicate with, though there wasn’t a reason to contact him. The property was easily accessible and close enough to the things we wanted to see and do in the area.

Beautiful!

Such a lovely place to stay, and managed by such great person! The house was wonderful, the view one of the best I have seen, and Jeremy was great! The place was as shown in the pictures. We arrived in the pouring rain with water running down the mountains and the roads but it cleared up the next day. And parking was so convenient to the front door and shelter! No outside steps to climb! Watching the shadows and fog on Grandfather Mountain was my favorite thing to do. We could see how well the community has worked together to come back from Hurricane Helene, signs of damage all over, but everything is working just fine! Please support this community with a visit.

Wonderfull cabin with great view!

Cabin was just as described by owner. Owner was very responsive to questions. Everything was well kept and very clean. My family really enjoyed the game room, especially the air hockey table. Views from the back of cabin on both decks was awesome. We would rent again in the future if needed. Thanks, Jeremy.

Awesome views of Grandfather Mountains

Extremely satisfied with the Higher Elevation cabin! It is well maintained, updated and very comfortable for up to 10 guests. Beautiful kitchen, the beds were very comfortable, the game room was a bonus. My granddaughter loved playing even at 3 years old. Everything you needed for your stay was already provided. We picked an awesome location and will return for another visit.

Perfect House with Amazing View of Grandfather Mountain

Higher Elevation hit the mark in every way possible. It’s a beautifully-renovated, well-stocked home with high-end furnishings that made our stay comfortable and so enjoyable. The house was easy to access in the summer, though I could see 4WD/AWD being a big plus to get up and down some steeper inclines when snow is on the ground. Extremely convenient to Boone, Banner Elk, ski resorts, Grandfather Mtn, etc. Would recommend to all - can’t go wrong with this lovely mountain retreat!

Fall family getaway

Coming from Florida, we were looking for a place that would fit just right. Higher elevation exceeded our expectations. We had our kids, 10,8,5, and 2, the kid friendly accommodations made it easy to enjoy the beautiful Mountain View’s and the cool crisp air. Banner Elk has just about everything to keep a busy family, busy. We went Hiking, to the park, gem mining, winery , and visited a few classic general stores. There is so much to do even with just missing the winter sports like snow tubing, ice skating, and skiing. We will definitely will plan another visit.

NC High Country Vacation

We enjoyed every moment of staying in NC High Country! This cabin was perfect for our family. It’s comfortable and large enough to spread out. The parents got the main floor, our son took the top floor and our daughter took the bottom floor. It’s also cozy enough to spend quality time as a family. The view of Grandfather Mountain is beautiful! We spent lots of time on the back porch talking about our daily adventures, playing games, listening to the birds, and taking in the stunning views. We also enjoyed the hot tub. The location of the cabin is great! You’re within a 15-25 minute drive to Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. There is so much to do and see, and the cabin was centrally located to everything. Jeremy was a delight to work with and made sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We will be back!

We love how convenient it is and how centrally located it is to get to everything. Our community is a hidden gem that gives us privacy for morning and afternoon walks in quiet surroundings. The view of Grandfather Mountain from the top or bottom covered deck is absolutely breathtaking. The rocking chairs are where we spend most of our time unless we're inside watching movies on the 75" SMART TV. Let's not forget the game room where the boys are always having a healthy competition in air hockey.
