Cute 2-bedroom cottage on Lost Lake in the heart of the Northwoods
Escape to our cottage in beautiful Saint Germain!
Inside:
This peaceful retreat features two cozy bedrooms, including one queen bed and a bunk bed (full bed on the bottom and twin on top), perfect for families or friends. Guests can unwind in the beautiful living room, which offers a comfortable sofa bed for extra sleeping space with panoramic views of the water. The bathroom has a walk in shower and is next to the laundry closet. The kitchen has all the necessities if you plan on staying in and cooking, we also have a Weber charcoal grill which guests are welcome to use.
Outside:
Our deck is so close to the water's edge, and has a table with umbrella and chairs. Enjoy 60 feet of level frontage with a dock for your boat. Lost Lake is a full recreation lake, but quiet enough to kayak and paddle board, we have 2 kayaks and a row boat for our guests to use. It is also a great fishing lake, Blue Gill, Crappie, Walleye and Muskie are pretty common, there is also Northern Pike, Bass and Perch. Whether you're relaxing indoors or exploring nearby lakes and supper clubs, this tremendous spot provides a wonderful home base. We're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our cottage.
In the summer:
We live for the lake! Water skiing, tubing, fishing, paddling and swimming. Our end of Lost Lake can get a little weedy, especially towards the end of summer, if that's the case we throw some rafts in and float or swim off the boat at the sand bar. If we want a full day of swimming we head over to Crystal Lake, a gorgeous state owned lake that is just as the name says, crystal clear sandy bottom lake with no motors. It is located 10 miles away just past Sayner. Mondays are ruled by the flea market in St. Germain, if it's too crowded or rainy, there's a flea in Boulder Junction on Tuesdays. There is also Monday evening bingo in St. Germain.

-boat over to Murmuring Waters for a snack, they have 2 docks for guests to tie up their boats

The property was wonderful with an excellent view of the lake. We loved the private dock, and being able to use the kayaks that were there.It was really nice to be able to sit out on the deck and eat our lunch and dinner.And the beds were really comfortable and supportive.

We loved this place! The views were spectacular and the cabin itself felt more like someone's home and not your typical rental vibe. Host was great to work with! We're looking forward to our next visit.

This was the MOST AMAZING “up north” place I have stayed in!!! Everything exceeded our expectations. Peggy is an amazing host who was quick to respond to any and all messages I sent her. I can’t wait to stay here again!!!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at the house. The house was very clean and decorated really cute. It had a incredible view of the the lake and we enjoyed the beautiful fall colors. Peggy did a wonderful job communicating with me about any questions we had. We would definitely go back again! Thank you!

Very clean, comfortable and cozy cottage. Picturesque lake views from the front family room windows. Conveniently located with many choices for great food and drink. Close to the Vilas county bike trail. Would definitely stay at this property again!

The cabin and property were exceptional! It’s cozy, charming and comfortable. Nicely decorated and had all the comforts of home. Our host was gracious. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.
